What a great night! The food was delicious and plentiful, the service was great, the beverage prices were remarkably reasonable and the entertainment topped off a totally fun night. This has got to be one of the most economical and best nights out in Sydney. The $50 a head Indian banquet consisted of papadums followed by a delicious entree with a range of chutneys and pickles and then the choise of 3 mains (the lamb and apple korma is to die for) with a lavish serving of fluffy saffron rice and plenty of hot naan bread.

The belly dance and elvis entertainment was fun ( the drag queen had the night off as it was the gay and lesbian madi gra parade) and the whole room had the best night. Stephanie is a legend and gives it that personal touch from the time you book. Thanks Steph, we'll be back.

This is one of our regulars when we travel to Sydney for a night in the Big Smoke. It's the best you can get in Sydney for good comedy and if language may offend there's always My Fair Lady Showing and I guess with comedians you often have to take what you get. Some are great, others not so and some are crappy but hey...upstairs you can take your dinner which we have always found to be really nice, and watch the harbour lights.

Then do some dancing with the breeze and the lights of Sydney as the Salsa music emanates from below. For a lousy $70 this is a great night of fun. I would recommend to everyone, it is really great value all around.

I would have to agree with Pomarts review. We arrived there last night after walking up Glebe Point Road and then deciding on Spanish... we didn't know whether we were going to select a licensed or BYO and had a bottle of red with us.

The staff were very pleasant and the place was very packed for a Saturday night, often an indicater that they serve good food. We were lead to the rear and upstairs which had a nice white wall and U shaped tile reminiscent of
Spanish housing. The staff and atmosphere were lovely. We were told that it was not a BYO and we could not consume our wine there - no mention of any corkage fee which we would have been happy to have paid.

We ordered a jug of Sangria. We knew what was good and tasty Spanish cuisine and nice tasting Sangria. The Sangria was watery and tasteless with not even a hint of Cinnamon. It was priced at $18 a jug which was very reasonable if it had tasted like it was worth drinking... it was not morish... it was so watery.

We ordered some tapas ( well with a name like Spanish Tapas you would think this was a feature). We had Garlic mussels. Now this is one of our favourites and it was over a dozen black mussels steamed in a pan of home made tomato sauce with finely chopped green capsicum, garlic, spanish onions, chilli and white wine.... so morish that you just couldn't help using the bread to soak up the gravy and glad your mother wasn't there to see you.

Well here it consisted of 8 half shell green New Zealand mussels floating in a centimetre of oil with tinned tomato puree - so the previous review is quite correct. We ordered a traditional Spanish Salad which was refreshing fresh and actually very nice. We had a stuffed Capsicum tapas which was spoiled by being covered in the tinned tomato puree...but pushing that aside the capsicum and stuffing of flavoured rice was reasonable. We also had the garlic champignons.... we know they are out of a tin but there was not a decent garlic taste to them and we wondered if they had remembered to put it in the dish.

The staff were very obliging and the place has potential but they really need to get someone in who knows how to cook decent Spanish Cuisine..... When I look at the reviews of this establishment and also ponder at the number of patrons this restaurant had on the night I really wonder as to how many people have really experienced good tapas or indeed good Spanish Cuisine ..... sorry but we won't be back to this one.
