I really like Govindas, even though it's not really healthy (lots of white food and cheese), it's cheap. Would be nice to take some wine, but I guess it makes the customer turnover quicker without people drinking wine. It's a good, cheap, casual place for a veggie meal with a small and quaint cinema as an extra bonus if you wish.

I don't like giving bad reviews, but the food here was the worse Vietnamese I've ever had, and in fact if they didn't advertise it as vietnamese I wouldn't even call it Vietnamese food. It was very, very bland.
Service was good and fast and attentive, and I'd like to rate the service and ambience higher but I don't want my overall rating to be high. Sorry guys. But having a restaurant on King St where there are heaps of other restaurants to compete with your going to have to pull up your socks.

Great food. However, it's dark, which is nice for intimacy, but take a torch to read the menu.

I've been here twice, had the veggie breakfast both times. First time the food was really tasty and I would have given this place a good review, if I didn't go back for a second time. The second time the quality of food was horrible. The mushrooms tasted like they came from a tin and the bread was like sunblest bread. Very disappointing as I left excited to return after the first visit.

I went here for lunch while my dog was getting a haircut next door. I thought it was going to be to hipster like for me, but the staff were very friendly and I felt very comfortable. The menu was a bit hard to read with all the different fonts and pictures and didn't explain exactly what the meals were (maybe I'm getting old?). I ordered the salsa. My God, it was amazing! I had quiet little orgasms while eating the beautifully tasty tomatoes mixed with a sauce and fresh herbs. And the camomile tea as divine (no bags used there). Definitely will be back.

I have been here twice for lunch. I had the watercress salad. First time it was absolutely amazing, fresh and very tasty. The waiter/chef(?) told me most of the ingredients were from the community garden. However, the second time I had the salad I was disappointed as the salad wasn't as tasty and it was half the size. I know the salad is cheap ($8), but they should have told me when I ordered it, it was going to entree size.

It's a shame about the staff. The food is good, prices reasonable, but the staff have the most horrible attitude. It's like I'm being rude because I'm ordering food, and I've been going to this cafe on and off for a couple of years and the staff have always been like this. When are they going to employ some people who actually smile and say thank you?

I love Love Grub. Most of the seats are outside, on the grass, beside herb/ veggie patch. I have been a regular since october 2011 and the service has always been lovely, relaxed and friendly. The menu has been updated to give more vegetarian options (which is great because I am vegetarian). Their prices are reasonable. I really don't want to give it ten out ten because I don't want it to get too busy as I've always had a seat when wanting one, but I have to give it ten because I love Love Grub.

Paid $18 for a salad which tasted wonderful, however, the serving was too small, entree size. It's a shame because I can go up the road and get a salad, which tastes just as good for $8. I'm afraid I won't be back to this restaurant.

After 3 years of missing chicken larb (turned vegetarian) I found tofu larb with Atom Thai and it was Great! And I had it home delivered and it was still amazing. Can't wait to eat in! The fake duck is so, so, but I don't really like fake meats anyway, mind you I don't like tofu either, but the tofu larb was great, Did I mention that?
Response from Management:
Hi Pigsrings
Thank you for your review and it is great that you liked the tofu larb. Vegetarian Duck, Chicken and Fish are all variety of tofu, and they are vegan as well.
One dish I would recommend is Choo Chee Tofu next time, it is one of the most popular vegetarian dishes.
Look forward to seeing you at the restaurant soon.
Cheers,
Atom
