Udon noodle soup a bit salty. Fried udon with prawns, lotsa prawns and calamari with bbq and mayo sauce. Tasty, if u like the takoyaki sauce. Seaweed salad, loads of seaweed. Good value. Will try the scallops and okonomiyaki next time.

Sashimi, fresh. Taste is good. I don't usually like tuna sashimi as its mushy at most places, but here its soft yet firm. Teriyaki fish was top notch. Nice sauce, not too much or too little. Nice crisp perch fillets, not basa or ling like other places.
BBQ tuna is a bit too heavy. Cooked right through. Would've been better if it is more rare on the inside. Tempura soft shell crab is crispy but the batter was too thick. Will try the tempura vegies next time. Unagi eel is good if u like it soft. Great value.

Lamb shank curry, too heavy and sweet with coconut milk. Lamb is nice and soft though. Papaya salad, Not sour or hot enough. Bbq beef salad, nicely marinated tender beef.
In summary, nicely cooked meat, but flavours not authentic at all. Too westernised for my tastes. Service was good, kept filling our glasses with water and was able to attract their attention even when the place was full.
Place is too dark and noisy.

Very busy place, we had no booking so sat at the bar, no waiting. Waitstaff was friendly condsidering it was so busy. Food is average. Paella I don't think is cooked to order as it comes out after 20 minutes. They must make a big batch. Its a bit too soft, no bottom crust, but edible.
Had the house red. I don't mind cheap dry reds. Don't bother with the sangria which I saw them making. Its basically half soda water, half house red and pieces of fruit. Nothing great abt this place, but prob better service and food than elsewhere.

Had the strawberry sauced duck. Its a sweet, pickly flavoured sauce, not much strawberry flavour though. Tried wagyu steak, one medium and one med-rare. Nice serving, delicious. Go for medium as it has the most flavour but is still tender. Med-rare is a bit chewy and less tasty. Nice chips. Seafood bisque tastes nice but not worth it compared to the cheaper soups. Lotta dishes on offer for fair price. I'll be back.

Tried the muscargot, nothing special. The tuna tartare, big entree thats hard to finish cause I got sick of it quick. Confit duck - ok. Steak - some special bashed style. Sauce was way too salty and garlicky. Had to scrap most of it off. Tender, thin meat that wasn't anything special at all, much rather like veal. Would've loved to give it a good review, but can't.

Touch screen menu same as Wagaya. Bigger range of food and drinks though. They got lamb and even crocodile! Food about $30pp. Quality is fine without being great. You go there for the atmosphere, touch screen, drinks and the range. Only prob is the service for water. Wait for food is fine but they only give you half a glass of water everytime you order and it takes ages for them to bring it out. Will be back to try the karaoke!

Went to Kura 3 which is on Dixon St near Liverpool St. Had the spicy salmon don. The fish tastes ok if you only have a few pieces, but its sauce is too thick and sweet so I couldn't finish it. Tasted the katsu don which was a bit salty. Beef tongue is ok though. The salmon sashimi that we ordered was terrible. Soft, tasteless, mushy. My partner who loves salmon, ate only 2 of the 5 pieces.

They bring the little complementary dishes with the meal and not before the dishes you ordered. I didn't like the selection they provide. The kimchee wasn't the best. I ordered the kimchee fried rice. The rice tasted fine except it was sitting in a big bowl of sauce. The sauce just overwhelming. My partner ordered mcakerel kimchee stew which is nice if you like that fish.

Had the dinner buffet. One of the waiters was quite helpful as he let us know that you could choose from the whole menu. They are also always available to take more orders unlike some places which try to avoid you ordering too quick. The quality of food is good without being great. But I found that we ordered and ate quiet a lot. Prob up to or more than $38 worth which is more I can say about other buffets. Only gripe is that theres no dessert there.
