Bad, bad, awful, shocking service. The wait staff are pleasant enough - just clueless and don't care. You get the impression that this is probably their first job after having worked in fast food chain. Won't review anything else about this 'restaurant' as the service leaves one lost for words!! The Bavarian Bier Cafes in the city are much better. Go there.

Remain undecided about this place. The decor was on the darker side (good) but seemed to lack depth and feel. The bar as you entered had a rather disconnected feel whereas the back bar was more akin to a cigar den (without the cigars).

The absinthe cocktails were good but the dip and bread plate we had to go with it had the most atrocious tomato dip that tasted like whole canned tomatoes. Bar staff were professional, efficient and lovely. The crowd on this Friday night were a funny mix of suits, couples and very average Tom and Harriets.

Crust Gourmet Pizza Bar, Annandale

Haven't tried the Annandale Crust but can highly recommend its counterpart in Double Bay. This scores very high with consistently good pizza with good quality ingredients. The gluten free pizzas are absolutely scrumptious. Seafood pizza also gets really high marks....and I don't normally like pizza! Deliveries are prompt.

Totally agree with Milak's review of 20 March 2008. This is one of those touristy, kitschy places that are just good for a laugh. The band is just classic. Don't go here if you're looking for quiet and/or sophisticated dining.

This place is divine. Intimate and sophisticated with elegant, romantic decor, this place is more typical of Melbourne restaurants. The hostesse/head waitress was charming, friendly, attentive and very pleasingly efficient. Wine staff were polite and knowlegeable.

Food was nicely done and 'elegantly simple'. Also love this place for after work, late evening wine and cocktails at the bar. Service from the bar is excellent and the atmosphere really makes the night. Definitely highly recommended.

Love this upmarket Italian restaurant. Can't comment on anything but the pasta, which is just the best and the only thing I ever eat here. Wait staff and maitre d' are very charming and service is good. Recommended.
