I enjoyed a Christmas work lunch at the end of 2011 at Nicks Bar & Grill. On both occasions, staff were friendly and service was fantastic!

The highlight, surprisingly was the desserts. We were in heaven! Highly recommend, Bailey's Creme Brulee or Belgian Double Chocolate Fondant! We even made a booking for afternoon tea, a week later just to enjoy the desserts again!

We booked our family and extended family on the New Years Day cruise, with a mix of all ages groups ranging from 2 years old through to 70 years, all in all everyone had a fantastic day! From the time we boarded the boat at Kings Street Wharf, we were shown the way to our table and the waiter immediately took our drinks order and shortly followed by our ALC menu order.

The length of the cruise was perfect, there was enough time to enjoy our lunch and then enjoy time outside on deck viewing the Harbour. The only part I would say needed improvement was the bookings team at Kings Street Wharf who I personally booked my tickets with (face to face), had I not called up on the morning of the cruise I wouldn’t have found out that someone had transferred our booking to another day, apart from that blunder, it was resolved quickly and everything went well on the actual cruise!

When you travel out to St Albans NSW on the weekend, take into consideration that you are not in Sydney anymore. Its time to slow down, and enjoy the serenity this pub has to offer.

The food is amazing, if you’re impatient I suggest you pack your own picnic lunch! Regardless, the home baked meat pies are amazing, delicious! The steak could do with some improvements. I don’t mind paying extra for Scotch or Rump!

The service will be what it is, but that’s why you have to chill out and enjoy the country atmosphere, the cost is fine considering the distance it is from most other amenities, if the Inn has to pay for transporting the food out to St Albans, I’m more than happy to pay for this wonderful service in the lovely town of St Albans!

I truly love Wild Pear Café, an outstanding café within the Hills District of Sydney. The meals are always well prepared and having a husband who loves his food, it’s what we look for when dining out for Brunch or Lunch. The staff are fantastic, displaying lovely customer service at all times, Thank you!
