Wow, I don't know why this didn't win the best Indian restaurant in Queensland and there are other good ones around. The chicken tikka was fantastic, best ever. The rest of the food was all very good but the chicken tikka is all I remember. Now my girlfriend says I need to shut up about it so thus the review to finish the subject off once and for all. This place is not very expensive, BYO or I think they have a license. I think the service was good but all I can remember for sure is the chicken tikka.

Still our favourite once-per-year fine dining classy restaurant experience in Brisbane. It's always consistently good and the food is great. It's an 1880's building with high ceilings and pillars. Don't know where they get the "bar" from, it's really a restaurant with a couple of bar stools at the front no one sits on. The wine list was good too but expensive.

Usually great staff, sometimes engaging French waiters who aren't arrogant, perhaps, because they love food so much. We shared all our food and we liked the scallops dish the best, but it was all good. Check out the old Conrad waiting rooms near reception and the loos are classy too. Nothing bad to say, we'll be back.

We really like this place. Our fav was the Caspian chicken but another chicken dish was great too (can't remember the name). The food is different to anywhere else that we've been to and was delicious. It's located in an old Queenslander so it has that simple Aussie charm. Staff friendly and attentive. It's BYO, but bottle shop down the street. A little expensive for a BYO. The food is spicy but wasn't too hot. Not for the meat and 3 vegs people though.

Fantastic decor, every inch except the carpet is Indian! The food was good but a little disappointing as we compared dishes to our favourites we get elsewhere, so we were guilty of high expectation. Great place for a lot of people, cozy seating, attentive staff.

We passed this restaurant by for a few years. Finally we ate there and the food was really superb. They also specialise in wines, most good and not cheap. Atmosphere dingy from the outside but we grew to like the dark bar atmosphere, as the waiter is right there on the other side of the counter and the neighbors were friendly with other food snobs around out, swapping restaurant notes, fun.
