We went to Lime spices using internet voucher. The place is hidden from the main street. Love the place, and service was really friendly and excellent value.

Using the voucher we only paid $87 for 6 adults plus ala carte order for the kids. We like the entree, it was full of flavour and texture. One of the main they served with the voucher was really too small. Also the noodle portions is very small for the price.

Overall, we enjoyed the lunch we had that day, maybe also because we are the only group in the restaurant so we received full attention from the staff. For sure if they have the same deal, I will come back, but not for full price.

This place has the cheapest sushi with taste comparable to other sushi places. Will go back again for sure, at least I know I will get full tummy with good variety for money spent in comparison to other sushi place.

Not sure what the negative feedback is all about, been a regular customer for many years since their fish and chips only cost me $4.5. Always happy with my battered fish, yes, maybe the cook is a bit grumpy, saw him yelling at the waiter for asking him something on behalf of customer. Our personal experience always great, from the food to the service.

The only Japanese restaurant in Wollongong that didn't disappoint us. We tried the tofu hot pot, grilled eel, tempura and beef fumiyaki (if I spelled correctly). Service was excellent, told us when we entered that they were very busy thus the food might come a bit long. At the end we didn't wait too long and ware quite happy. The place was excellent, felt like we were in some small eating house in japan. Will come back if we are in the wollongong again.

Went to Alio with my wife, using Cudo voucher ($35) and order extra degustation menu on full price. Couple of the dishes were fantastic, but unfortunately most of them are just OK. I would come back if I had another voucher, but to pay full price for 2 person, I am not sure. The service is great, but ambiance and some of the food were not good enough to bring me back for full price. For those who never been to Alio, it might be a good experience to try.

Recommended by friends, maybe just on the day we had our dinner the service was poor and the food is awful. Not worth the money you spent. Definitely not going back there again.

Regular lunch special customer, for $6.00 lunch menu, can't complain with the portion and taste, will definitely go back there regularly whenever I am too lazy to cook.

Had dinner with friends last week, we prefer to go on weekday night since saturday will usually too crowded and almost impossible to get a table.

Our entree are Steamed Prawn Wontons with Organic Brown Rice Vinegar Dressing ($19) and Homestyle Fried Biodynamic Eggs with Organic Tamari and Homemade XO($19). Tell you the truh the prawn dumpling is not worth it but the egg is good.

For main we ordered: Deep-Fried Silken Tofu with Roasted Organic Tomatoes and Shoyu and Lemon Dressing, Stir-Fry of Local Mushrooms: Oyster, Shimejii, Shiitake and Swiss Brown and their special crispy duck, definitely highlight of the night is the crispy duck.

We probably going to come back, but definitely will not order the prawn dumpling and overprice Cantonese-Style Fried Jasmine Rice, just order steamed jasmine rice, your crispy duck will taste better.

The bill cost $185 for 4 persons, which is reasonable for billy kwong's calibre.

Went there several times, excellent authentic Japanese restaurant. Waiters were very friendly, free refill of rice, baby octopus teriyaki and tempura are our regular dishes.
