Love it. Hilariously tacky decorations, staff are lovely and the curries are amazing.

Went here for our 1st wedding anniversary. Service initially very attentive. Scotch fillet was amazing.
Then everything went a bit pear-shaped. It took about 20 minutes to get our table cleared when our mains were finished. Then we ordered a glass of dessert wine and an apple tart tatin each. After 20 minutes a waitress came and told us that the chef had pre-cooked the tarte tatin pastry and had burned them all so they weren't servable (I've never heard of pre-cooking pastry for tarte tatin before).
So we asked for the glasses of dessert wine and two minutes to choose another dessert. After 20 minutes or so another waitress came and explained they were out of the one dessert wine that they do by the glass and offered us a choice of 2 others. We picked one, then ordered our 2nd choice of desserts with her. God knows why it took 40 minutes to ascertain they were out of that wine. Then we had our desserts which were a disappointment, the biscotti with the creme brulee was stale and soft, and the brulee had no taste.
My husband's choc mousse was not hugely exciting but fine. Then it took us another 20 minutes to find someone to get us the bill. When it came they had charged us for 4 desserts rather than 2. It was a strange night, it was as if when the time went past 9 pm the service staff just totally stopped caring. Very frustrating and annoying. There were only about 4 tables left in the place for the last hour, and 4 waitstaff, yet it was impossible to get anyone to help us or clear the table.
Wouldn't recommend it. If I'm going to pay close to $300 for 3 courses I really expect them to have decent service.

Terrible. I suspect the woodfired oven is purely ornamental as it wasn't being used the night we were there, and I see from other reviews it never seems to be used, but we weren't even warned that we would be getting meat cooked in a frying pan rather than the way it was described on the menu. Incredibly expensive, poor quality food served by rude, indifferent staff.

Lovely courtyard but way too expensive for what it is. The cook-your-own steak is fine but the salad bar is terrible, a green salad that looks like it was poured straight from a Coles bag into the serving dish, potato salad and a noodle salad, and some baby potatoes. I expect a lot more for the price they're charging, if it were $15 rather than $30 then I'd be more than satisfied. It's just so annoying as it would be easy for them to put a bit of effort into the salads.

Waited 50 minutes for an entree of chicken wings. Asked what was happening after half an hour, and we were told it takes a while as they're made fresh. Finally got them only to take a bite and realise they were freezing cold in the middle. After asking the waitress it emerged that they were fresh when they were frozen that morning, how it took nearly an hour to not quite defrost two chicken wings in a microwave and pour some sauce over I'm not sure. It didn't get any better from then on in, highly recommend going elsewhere.

Happily surprised at how good this place was. Duck with chilli and basil was great. Not expensive either. Will be going back.

Just terrible. We ordered tapas dishes to share between 3, including the fried baby eggplant, which came out looking great but when we went to pick it up to put on our plates noticed it was sagging like a soaked bit of cardboard. I asked the waitress if it had been microwaved to heat it up and she said "Yes", in a tone that implied "And...?". I asked her to ask the kitchen staff to make us a fresh batch. Ten minutes later she came back and said the kitchen staff was too busy to cook fresh eggplant for us.
We declined to eat the soggy microwaved eggplant, however, it was on our bill, and I had to ask to have it taken off. They brought the bill back with it removed, but then I had to take it to the counter to pay when we finally gave up on table service some minutes later.
In my book, you don't go out to eat food that was prepared that morning or day/s before, I go out to eat fresh food. And really, if they can't be bothered to drop some eggplant in hot oil for 2 minutes, doesn't it make you wonder what goes on with the rest of their food?
The other dishes were ordinary at best, salty gristly chorizo, patatas aioli was microwaved and lukewarm (good God, if you're going to use the microwave at least put it on for long enough!), and the Spanish salad a bizarre concoction of sliced tomatoes with tomato puree over the top, a bit of diced Spanish onion and a few olives.
Horrendous, and not a single apology from the staff. Go elsewhere. McDonalds is just around the corner on George St and they will make you a fresh burger.
