Had a lovely 4 course degustation meal last night. Other reviewers mentioned that the portion sizes are small. We found the 4 course degustation meal portions to be elegantly sufficient. The sizes were enough to savour all the wonderful flavours.
The King Salmon crudo was great, as well as the buccatini and mussels (mussels were so succulent). Enjoyed the egg on the nest dessert too. If you're really hungry you can always ask for an additional bread roll or even order a side salad to go with the main, but you shouldn't need it. We had a delightful evening and really enjoyed our meal.

Good Japanese restaurant. The portions are a little smaller compared to other restaurants, but the prices are reasonable and the quality is very good. Run by Japanese and not Koreans, so it is an authentic restaurant. Very fresh food and friendly staff. Definitely one of the more authentic and better Japanese restaurants around with some different dishes on the menu.

Had a lovely night with friends. We selected the full banquet for $40 and there was more than enough food. All the dishes were superb and I highly recommend it for a night out a local, suburban restaurant. My favourites were the ladies fingers, hommos topped with mince lamb, home made yoghurt, haloumi, and lamb skewers.

I was disappointed in this restaurant. Based on the reviews and another recommendation, I was expecting a lot more. The venue is nice, the wait staff try very hard to please, but the quality of food lets this venue down. It seems the restaurant wants aims to be better than some of the other local restaurants serving the usual typical dishes, but the quality and presentation of the food needs to be improved one level. The seafood marinara had miniscule mussels & clams you could barely see them in their shells and the small frozen prawns were tasteless. But the spaghetti itself was al dente and cooked to perfection. The seafood eggplant is good but the zucchini flowers stuffed with crabmeat is very disappointing.

The reviews were good so we decided to try the restaurant. Overall, we were disappointed. They try very hard but the "recipe" is not quite there -- there's something lacking in the service, the ambiance, and the food. We found it pretty average.

Had a lovely dinner at Tapioca. Try the smoked trout with betel leaves, and chicken wrapped in wafers for entree. Deep fried whole snapper for main; and tapioca pudding, and coconut ice cream for dessert. Great restaurant for a special occasion. The chef came out to our table at the end of the meal to see how we found our meal. Really added a personal touch. We thought it was not BYO but they seem to be a little flexible about it, so call to enquire beforehand.

Really enjoyed the meal. Ordered the $40 banquet and had plenty to eat. Found the dishes a refreshing change from Chinese & Thai. The dishes were well-presented and very flavoursome. Didn't like the spring rolls, but the other dishes on the $40 banquet were great. Definitely recommend trying the restaurant if you feel like some Indonesian food.

Went with a group of friends and took advantage of the $55 special offer. Cute little place in Neutral Bay. Easy to park and you can stroll to the bottom of Hayes street afterwards and take in water views. Good place to meet friends, chat, catch up, and enjoy a restaurant that is not one of your regular cheap eats nor super expensive, just a good, mid-range, local restaurant. The choice of dishes is good and we had a great night.

Good local place to get some Indian food. The Dosas were my favourite. Since there were only two of us, we ordered the $34 banquet which represents great value for money and allowed us to try many of the dishes on the menu. We enjoyed our evening.

Recently went here after a movie at Roseville Cinema and there was no problem to serve us at 8:30 pm. Food is good value for a quick, simple and inexpensive meal. Most mains are around $18 and I enjoyed the Barramundi. Would recommend for before/after a movie, nights when you don't want to cook, inexpensive catch up with friends. Good to have this type of place in the local neighbourhood.
