Interesting little fine dining Japanese restraunt tucked away in Harrington St in the City. I went there for lunch and had a mini degustation menu... the food was really delicious and some dishes of tetsuya quality. Ambience and service were excellent and although a little pricey still affordable... a hidden gem,highly recommended. Although looking at the awards its won... probably not so hidden. Lol!

One of the top restaurants you will ever have the chance to eat, food is served degustation style. First time you go it will knock your socks off. Service is top notch, although I have found the city restaurant very sterile, best to eat in a group not necessarily a romantic rendezvous, unlike Rozelle.

Over the years it has started to lose its appeal. I have been going to Tetsuyas for well over a decade and I still enjoy, but not as memorable as it once was. However, if you have never been and you have the cash I highly recommend.

One of my favorite restraunts in Sydney. Great food, wonderful ambience, particularly if you get those harbour/opera house views... indoor and out door dining... great wine list. Ocean Room is under Japanese Dining. I wouldn't describe it as that at all... more fine dining seafood/asian fusion... regardless a visit is a must.

Ninja is a quality Japanese restraunt that just happens to be in St Ives. The food served here is equal to that served in some of the big reputation city japanese eateries. Which is fanatastic for the locals. Indoor/Outdoor dining... innovative menu... which extends beyond your typical. have been a few times now and very consistant.

We recently took some friends to Arias Chef Table, a private room with full view of the kitchen. It was sensational! Much better than others I have attended in similar establishments. From the greeting at the Bar with champagne and canapes, to the explanation of the food and the workings of the kitchen the whole night was great, our private waiter was very knowledgeable and added to the evening. Pricey, but how do you value exclusivity at one of Sydneys top restaurants. Wine list extensive.

Berowra Waters Inn has always been a favorite and we have visited many times in the past. Our recent visit was under the new management and restauranteur. The experience was better than I expected, food was world class, service, ambience all at the highest levels. We took our children 11 and 14, who are well versed at eating at good restaurants, a childrens menu was offered, still one of my favorite eateries in Sydney. Recently dined here again and had an equally satisfying outcome.

Great place to take the kids for lunch or dinner. Don't expect a fine dining experience. Dedes is solid as a rock when it comes to food and service. Don't expect too much from the wine list. You'll have a great time at Dedes.

Almost a Sydney icon. Nestled on Rosebay near the wharf, you can watch the seaplanes take off and ferries motor along. Food was good quality. Service as you might expect without being exceptional and a solid wine list. Great place if you have a few hours available to take in the veiw.

Easily the best sushi bar in Sydney. Be adventurous and ask the Sushi Chef to serve you his own specialities. You will have an amazing experience.

Fantastic food, wine and service. The location is quaint and just a great spot for a lazy Sunday lunch. The oyster menu is one of my favourites. I really enjoyed the wine list which although limited really did a great job matching the food.

Highly recommended!
