Fantastic day well spent on the water, the food was excellent and the service was friendly, attentive but not pushy. I could not think of a better way to spend an afternoon with friends, Berowra Waters Inn justly deserves the accolades that have been heaped on it.

First dining experience at Rengaya was a mid-week business lunch, the setting felt like I was walking back into an expensive restaurant in the 90's, which hadn't been updated to this millennium.

The service was polite but stilted, the food and drinks came out promptly, the presentation was acceptable, and the food quality was good – although not memorable.

I would not be surprised if you were a regular, then the service would improve dramatically, as would the meal selection as you worked your way through the menu items which were clunkers and found the gems which undoubtedly exist.

We recently celebrated our 10 year anniversary at Est. and I could not have been happier with the venue. The staff were professional and well versed, service was prompt but not pushy, food was brilliantly presented delicious, and due to the GFC the restaurant was only half full, which meant I could carry on conversation without having to strain to hear my wife.

An indication of how much we enjoyed the evening was when I paused to order the bill and realized that there was only one other table left and it was after 11 pm! At other venues you would get the staff "cleaning up" around you or asking "if there is anything else we can get you", a wonderful evening and well worth every penny.

We recently had a "night out" with my wife, drove across the bridge to my old stomping ground, forgot to bring a bottle of wine (BYO only), so after our meal went nearby for glass of wine.

The toll, parking and two glasses of wine after dinner were more than we spent on dinner! Surely no-one would mistake it for Michelin hat cuisine, but that's not the point. * Complementary cordial - check. * Complementary bread - check. * Salad with mains - check. * Good decent food at good decent prices - check.

Really nice Teppanyaki restaurant, when we were in there most of the diners were families with young children. Not a place to take friends/colleagues to impress, but a fun let your hair down and have a good time.

Working in the area there's nothing better than taking time out to indulge oneself, and the wonderfully Spartan environment separates you from the distractions of the food courts and retail shoppers which normally accompany lunch in Chatswood.
The quality of both the food and attention to detail always strive, and while it’s not silver service, it is professional fine dining without the pomp and snooty ritual.

I have mourned the passing of the tasting plates, and am often “forced” into to ordering multiple desserts out of frustration. My biggest gripe, would be when it comes busy the background noise hits that “critical mass”, where it becomes difficult to hold a casual conversation. They have recently added a private dining area, which goes a way to address this.
