Had a quick meal here early last saturday night. The staff were great. The food was very fresh, and tasty. I'm not sure if the price justified the food, but we really enjoyed the meals. For the size they were surprisingly filling. Be wary of the duck curry if you don't like hot food. There are sneaky chillies in the lettuce, hidden cos they are green chillies chopped up. A real kick, but exactly what I wanted, Loved it.

As we left the restaurant was much busier and the staff seems to be getting a bit flustered, but sadly I think this was down to the full restaurant, torrential downpours, and lots of passing foot traffic getting in the way.
Will be back.

Had a scoupon type voucher, which made this dinner acceptable. Had we paid full price for the meal and drinks we would not have been happy at all.

Starters were nice, but overflavoured to the point of confusion. The mains, well, considering their size the chefs obviously love food, I just don't think they know how to properly prepare it. Chicken was dry, and my medium steak was tough and overcooked.

Desserts was passable, but not worth the expense. The only meal that I was truly happy with was the pork belly, perfectly cooked, however, the sauce was lacking depth. Far too many flavours.

This restaurant tries to be great but the food and overall service really lets it down. Stick to pouring beers, the last time I was there was just for drinks, and it was great. Close the kitchen to anything but finger food and get some more decent beers and wine and you will have a winner.

Went with a large group. Most meals we were either not instructed how to make, or we couldn't actually tell what it was we were eating. Dessert never arrived (set banquet menu) we got a bill instead. Will never be back nor will the rest of the 24 ppl in our party.

Great pizzas, fantastic service, a refreshing change in the cbd. Great for groups as you get a card each, to mark up drinks and meals so you don't need to worry about splitting bills etc. Will be a regular for me from here on in.

The staff were unexperienced, and being bossed around by a girl. Not the best example to be setting. It was a very hot day the day we went, and we were told in no certain terms, that we would get water when there was a bottle to put it in. Quite rude considering it was said senior staff, and her staff were handing out cold bottles to other tables arriving after us. We were then presented with luke warm water and 1 less glass then there was ppl at the table.

Our orders were quite obviously going to other tables, as were the starters we had ordered. At one stage we had to sort this out ourselves with the table beside us.
Burger were good but expensive, one was unedible. The blue cheese burger sounded great in theory, however, only when the blue cheese is fresh, this was not.
Basically had the service been better, or at least attempting to show they cared, we would consider going back. But we won't be.

Good quality thai food. We went on a quiet friday night to find a thai buffet for $15, which considering the 4 mains and 3 starters on offer was pretty darned good value. The food although not the best we have had, is well worth the price, and the family run operation seems to go smoothly. Add to this the bowls club priced beers, and its a great start to a nice evening. Throw in the supreme view from the green, and its all good.

We tried Mado a few years ago and were disappointed. Given we were invited to the restaurant as a surprise for close friends, we didn't want to miss the dinner.
Sadly Mado lived up to all our previous expectations. 2 tables of 10 people. Orders were taken as two tables so as to reduce confusion. It failed. Our meals arrived over a period of 45 minutes, leaving some at either table receiving the wrong meal, or nothing at all until others at the table were finished and ready for coffee.

The staff could not speak english well enough understand the menu, and we were left wondering whether what we asked for was what we received. With several members of the party with severe allergies, we were told in no uncertain terms that changes to the food items would be made. ie/ they would not serve a dish without the yoghurt dollop on top. How difficult is it to put it in a side dish, or not put it on at all is beyond me.

We will not be back at all, nor could we recommend the restaurant to anyone. Its overpriced, undermanned, and completely amateur.

Hate to admit it, but I feel ripped off. Ordered drinks 3 times, and each and every time, the beer was delivered was not the one ordered, or the wine was 'not available at the time'. Staff were pretentious, trying to convince me of how the meal was, and considering we were seated at 715, and didn't get mains until we were standing to leave at 10:35.

After several requests for how long our meal would be we were assured at 9 pm that they were next in line, etc etc, the excuses got more and more lame as the evening progressed. As a token, 2 of the party of 6 were given a glass of wine, (which was stale, corked, and resembled a vinegarette, more than a wine). The remainder of us were offered 4 berries, and 4 small slices of salami to tide us over for the further 1 hour 40 minutes wait.

All in all, we won't be back, almost 400 to slightly feed 6 people, poor service, tactless staff, and to top it all off, not a hint of an apology for the lengthy delay.
I would hate to see how the staff and kitchen handle a full restaurant, as there was only roughly 30-40 people dining the night we went. Never again
