Went here with a group of people with kids for lunch. Staff went out of their way to set us up with a table out of the way in the shade perfect for the littlies. Food and drinks were fine and reasonably priced, only hitch was the staff brought everything out in dribs and drabs and took a while for it all to arrive. Water feature in the garden was a hit with the littlies.

Went here for a romantic dinner in Oct 2011. The setting was nice on the balcony, even though it was night-time it had a good atmosphere. Dinner was good although the tapas paled in comparison to those my husband and I have had in several places in Spain, but hey we are in the Hunter in Australia. Dessert was the highlight of the food and as it was my husband's birthday, staff went to a real effort to surprise him with a special dessert/singing etc. All up an enjoyable enough evening.

Went here on a Tuesday night in a group. Place was packed but the parking was a nightmare, very few spots designated for the restaurant, and in the middle of an industrial park where the spots are all reserved with poles/boomgates. When rang the restaurant was told to park in between the poles (illegally) and not to worry because the rangers would not come round at night - thought this was not up to scratch for a restaurant of this size that was this busy mid-week to have no proper parking and no mention of this on their website.

I ordered the burger which was nice and of reasonable value but friends who ordered the steak or ribs ended up paying a lot lot more. The place was so packed it was hard to have a conversation without shouting and the chairs were not that comfortable. We had some problem with the bill but this was fixed up by management. All in all an Ok evening out but wouldn't be in a rush to go back.

Good place for a quick take-away. The chicken burger meal was so big that I couldn't finish. It is always busy here so you know the food is fresh. The salad selection is also very wide.

Went here with a large group for dinner. The service was indeed pretty poor. When I ordered tea and the waitress didn't understand because she couldn't speak enough English, she just walked away and didn't come back. Also we had ordered rice with the mains, had to keep asking and asking if it was coming, ended up coming about 10 minutes after all the mains arrived, at which point everyone had already eaten all the meat due to being hungry! The food was Ok but nothing super special, wouldn't come back for dinner again.

Had the special food festival brunch. Atmosphere really good, despite the rainy weather which meant everyone was inside. Food was plentiful, only gripes were that the mezze dishes came out at the same time as the brunch (i.e. main items), would have been better with a break between. The black sea pancakes were very sweet, same for the apple tea so good only if you have a sweet tooth. Staff super friendly although a little bit hit and miss with the service. Would go again, although would order something else. Doesn't compare to the fantastic turkish food I had when living in Europe though.

Popped in for a quick lunch, despite the best efforts of the staff who once they saw the pram tried to persuade me not to come in. Had the spring roll & grilled pork with noodle salad, Ok but the portion of the noodles was on the small side. Served quickly, tables were very close together but that's the type of place it is.

Agree with the other reviews about the food all coming out at different times and the wait staff bringing the wrong orders, not knowing who ordered what. Staff also seemed disinterested. Food, however, was fresh and it was child friendly, the children all got colouring in paper/pens. I wasn't too sure about the beans in the bento box but others thought they were good. Overall Ok experience, we were with overseas visitors and they enjoyed it.

Food was ok and serving sizes sufficient although the prices are on the high side. Staff super friendly and child friendly although getting their attention was a bit difficult. Good area for kids to play in, visible from tables on balcony although younger kids still need to have an adult go into the play area. Need to bring a towel to dry off the play equipment if it has rained as it is not 100% dry.

We are regulars here and it is consistently good. Staff are friendly, food is served quickly and the servings are a good size. Big fan of the massaman curry. I agree with others that the only negative is that if you eat in the automatic doors can be annoying and the air-con is sometimes a little cold.
