As per other comments re. this restaurant, very westernised menu. Service from general staff was good, however, senior staff thought he was Eddy Murphy and did not know when to leave despite the obvious body language from myself and my guest. Definitely better Vietnamese options in neighbouring Newtown.

Whilst the quality of Sydney Indian restaurants still doesn't quite stack up to London Darbar is definitely helping to raise the bar. Beautiful restaurant layout, BYO, food is always stellar quality and the venue is quite fitting for an evening for 2 or group bookings. If you're not the most 'tanned' person in the world and like your food spicy, you'll need to really stress to staff your penchant for food with a kick.

Fantastic food with leanings towards more traditional Chinese stylings versus usual western version. Real Sweet & Sour Pork, not red and definitely not pineapple. Other favourites includes all the dumplings without exception, shallot pancake, Pork chop soup and bamboo shoots. Much cheaper than the version at Chatswood Chase.

Great Italian restaurant run by Steve the friendly geezer and his wife. Always a winner is the Risotto Mistomare and the Penne Prosciutto. Bonus for BYO option. If making a booking best requesting to dine downstairs or the balcony as very difficult hearing people talk upstairs. Frequent the restaurant reasonably regularly and have never been disappointed.

Shame they don't have a section for Beer rating as this is still the Belgian's greatest contribution to mankind. Steak tartare is always a great complement to a sizeable glass of Duvel, Chimay or Leffe. Service is solid if not stellar however the bar area could be roomier.

Staff are friendly if not cheeky. Portions are enormous and very tasty. $5 Coronas w/ good beer list and can highly recommend the beer garden for large group bookings. Cocktails at Different Drummer down the road is the perfect dessert also if you're not driving.

Always blown away by the quality of the restaurant. The calibre of all dishes is top shelf although favourites are the cured salmon and lamb cutlets. Extra bonus points for the BYO option plus the staff always make you feel welcome without being overbearing. Have recommended this restaurant to anyone who would listen for a while now and all friends have had similar experiences.
