Their martini is just plain vermouth from the bottle in a normal glass. No olives. When questioned, they stood by their so-called 'martini'.

The pate was delicious, but the coq au vin we were looking forward to was tasteless and had no scallions at all! Creme Brulee was truly excellent and worth going for.

Service was unremarkable. Considering there are other good places for Creme Brulee, we won't be going back here.

The good: S+P squid was delicious but the Creme Brulee was the real star. Prawn Tartine, Fisherman's basket (huge serving!) and Steaks were all good/excellent.

The bad: My lobster!(sniff). It was dry and tasteless. Did they freeze it beforehand? Next: the risotto was still crunchy! The rice really should have been cooked longer. The Chocolov cake in the display wasn't as rich and dark or as fudgy as expected.

Would absolutely go back again. Am considering becoming a member.

Delicious smokey, home-made baba ganoush (just ask at the counter)! We stayed for a coffee and lebanese sweets after picking up some groceries. Anna was really friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Great local Thai with a fun ambiance. The banana blossom salad and pad thai are delicious! Three main meals were enough for four. Will be going again.

One of the best Yum Chas I've ever been to. A huge selection, all freshly made. Nice, clean, modern, designer interior. I always resent having to register at the desk in the RSL club, but for this restaurant I make an exception.

I really want this place to raise the bar because despite their failings, I love them. Yes, the staff were absent minded (after my coffee was delivered, I had to remind them to bring my croissant, then remind them about the jam, then again about a knife). This after telling them I was in the 15 minute parking bay! But the coffee is superb, the interior nice, and we need a casual cafe outside the university campus and hey, it's a Toby's Estate!

Heed the low eatability rating! I dined here with friends recently and seriously disliked this place. Bar one or two items which are average, the food is extremely bad (I've lived in Japan); it's expensive for what you get, and it's noisy to boot. This place wouldn't last a month in the city - wonder why it's hanging on so long in leafy Wahroonga? There didn't seem to be any other places open for dinner nearby, so perhaps it's a lack of competition.

I went back in September 2010. Didn't feel this place was anything special. All very clean and modern but somehow lacks ambiance. Bruschetta was tasteless, the pork belly chewy, but the panna cotta was perfection!

I agree it could use proper table service, but they'd have to close off the back courtyard so people don't sneak off without paying. Cakes are the most gorgeous in Sydney and the flavour is really intense from quality ingredients. The whole ambience is very European. Love bringing people here, it feels like you've let them in on a little secret!

Yum, yum, yum. I found the bouillabaisse especially good. Interior does look a bit 'bright' at night, but for a quick bite it can't be beaten.
