I had breakfast here early on a Saturday. My partner and I met up with another couple and we brought our dogs along. The cafe is very accommodating of animals and if there are no tables available out the front, staff are more than willing to bring food to you in the park across the road.

Food on offer is the regular bacon and eggs fare, but with a few interesting relishes thrown in for good measure. I had the lamb and rosemary sausage with poached eggs. The relish definitely brought the meal together. They also offer bacon and pancakes, which I tasted and find that the saltiness of the bacon, balances the sweetness of the maple syrup. It would be great to have the option of paying a little extra for real maple syrup though.

Staff are friendly and welcoming, though for a small place it does get extremely busy, especially with all the extra seating in the park across the road. Prices are exceptionally reasonable and I had a very pleasant breakfast. I recommend getting in for breakfast early though as the cafe has a tendancy to fill up.

I stopped by last Sunday night. They were very busy, but we luckily had a reservation. I dined with three other friends, who are right into eating European cuisine.

Service was a little slow, and out waitress appeared tired and bothered. We were left unattended for long enough that we placed our meal order when the waitstaff finally came around to take our drinks order. The kitchen works fast though, in the past I remember meals taking forever to come out, but on Sunday night we were left waiting just a few minutes after our drinks arrived before receiving our meals.

I had the Lamb Goulash special, which had been slow cooked and served with a bread dumpling. The meal was excellent home style cuisine, not dissimmilar to my mother's cooking. My partner ordered the Thuringer Wurst, which was simple, yet hearty. My sister had the Goulash also and her partner had the Jaeger Schnitzel, served with spätzle and red cabbage. Which looked impressive.

It is evident that the owners have been focused on turning this restaurant around with regard to getting meals out to customers. They serve simple German style dishes, which are large and hearty. I think they are really let down by their staff though, who could be a little more friendly and, perhaps, a degree more attentive.

I would definitely be coming back for the food though, which is really all that matters.

My partner and I dropped in for coffee and dessert on a Saturday night. We ordered a dessert plate for $20, which included macarons, chocolate and petit fours. The coffee was made well and the dessert was amazing, the dessert plate is definitely enough for two.

The location is perfect, on the corner of George & Hickson Rd, it offers a more relaxing environment when compared to the other cafes nestled in with the bars on George St. Unfortunately, there was a bit of a wait in between coffees and dessert, we had to ask for water and we eventually went inside to ask for the bill.

Our waitress was friendly, but I didn't feel welcome by the senior staff. I think a smile couldn't hurt once in a while. Even so, I think I would consider venturing back to try 3 courses in a few weeks time.

I love eating at Sushi Masa, Its refreshing to find authentic Japanese cuisine cooked by authentic Japanese chefs. They offer a fairly limited selection of dishes on their menu, but of the few things they cook, they certainly cook them well. I recommend ordering an entree of gyoza and the combination dish for mains, it provides you with the opportunity to sample a few of the main dishes on offer.

I greatly enjoyed my meal here, it is such a lovely restaurant. The waitstaff were extra helpful as well. The beef medallion wrapped in bacon was fantastic cooked to perfection. Unfortunately, the mussels weren't quite up to standard, these things do happen and I don't think it was the kitchen at fault, but this was quickly alleviated with a replacement dish. Too bad the senior staff was a little confronting when we questioned the freshness of the seafood. If a customer tells you they think some of the mussels aren't that fresh, you don't tell them they are wrong.

The new chef they have working there does magical things with the menu. There is always an interesting spin on the classic italian food they prepare there. The coffee is great too, one of the most friendly baristas in town.

They have an interesting selection of beverages, such as saleb, which I haven't encountered before. I normally go here once a week for a coffee and a piece of cake or share the plate of nachos with my girlfriend. I really like the feel of the place, its relaxed and has a really nice vibe. The cake selection is amazing, the ricotta cheesecake is not too sweet and is surprisingly light.

The coffee is consistently good, so is the hot cider and saleb. I'm pretty sure the food is all vegetarian, but is still very tasty and simple. Seating is a bit sparse so I can't imagine what the place is like on Saturday morning and its 'help yourself' for water.

I've been here three times so far and each time the coffee has been quite good. The cake is amazing, particularly the chocolate flourless. The place is open fairly late so its good to drop in for dessert after a meal out or a visit to the cinema. You may want to share the cake though because it is quite rich. The staff are attentive and friendly. In one instance I was walking past on Christmas eve in the morning and thought I'd drop in for a coffee I walk up to the front door, saw the opening times stated that it wouldn't be open for another 20mins or so. As I started walking off down the street, a friendly waiter came out and said he would be happy to set me up with some coffees. Only bummer is they don't have eftpos, so make sure you grab some cash first.

I live in Camperdown and was looking for somewhere to grab a quick bite to eat on Australia Day. I normally go to the cafe next door, but they weren't open so I gave Store a try. I'm really glad I did, I was amazed by the quality of the bread and other ingredients that went into the food there. They also have an interesting selection of cakes that aren't the typical Bob & Pete variety. The waitstaff were also very friendly and efficient. I've noticed the window display changes every now and again and looks like the owner takes great pride in his cafe, which contrasts so much to the place next door. I'll definitely be back sometime soon to try the cake and coffee.
