I have eaten at Siren a couple of times and it has always been quite nice! The first time I had pork belly, and it was the best pork belly I've ever had. My main came overcooked, but I sent it back and they had a new one prepared for me in no time.
The second time I went there I had the lamb salad and it was lovely! The only thing I don't like is that it's way too loud. Especially for dinner. You can barely hear yourselves talk. However, it's a great new place with good food to go in Gungahlin and I'd highly recommend it.

I'd been looking for a good Thai place in Gungahlin since my favourite one closed down. This is it!
The food is good, tasty and with just the right amount of heat. I particularly love their coconut rice, which makes the coconut-based curries even more yummy! Staff always friendly and smiling. This place is a regular for me.

Admittedly I've eaten here before and haven't hated it but the last time I went here I was extremely disappointed, and I will not go again.
My caesar salad came with a cold poached egg on top. Not cold because it had gone cold, but because it had been refridgerated. I ruined a lot of my salad popping the egg yolk, expecting warm runny yolk. Though I suppose there wasn't much to ruin really, as the salad was barely edible.
My friend had ordered bacon eggs and sausages, and instead it came with bacon and mushrooms. When told about the mistake, the waiter looked completely uninterested and took the plate away without saying a word. Much later it was returned with the sausages, not another word was said, no apology, nothing.
Plenty of other places in Canberra to get good food and good service, so I won't waste my time and money on this place again.

I wanted to love this so much more than I did. The duck pancakes were quite nice, although there wasn't much duck in them. The chicken and corn cakes were awful, so dry we couldn't eat them. And the mixed entree was far too heavy and greasy and we couldn't finish it.
Not only did it take them 45 minutes to bring dessert after we'd finished mains, but the dessert was probably the worst I have ever tasted. We quite like trying out different asian desserts, so I went for the coconut sago with sweet potato and taro and my partner went for the black sticky rice with coconut cream and a scoop of ice cream. Blech! Mine was Terrible! Warm coconut cream with some sweet potato cubes in it.
Dessert is usually my favourite meal, but I couldn't finish this. My partners black sticky rice was not much better, except for the scoop of ice cream on top which was its saving grace. Won't be back.

Love La Scala. They always have a lovely menu, great service and the restaurant is so cosy! It feels like you're tucked away somewhere in Italy.
Also have to love that it's always in the entertainment book, which makes it real value for money.

Have been here for breakfast a couple of times and it's quite good. The huevos rancheros is yummy. Cocktails are also quite good. Lacks a bit of atmosphere I think. Still, I would go back

This place used to do awesome chicken burgers. Now they still do the same burgers, but they're not awesome anymore. They're still fine, but not awesome. Don't mind coming here though, it's certainly not terrible.

I'm not a big fan of Chinese food, I usually find it's too fatty, and too full of filler veggies like capsicum and practically raw onion. But, I love Ginseng. It's got a lot of traditional dishes, but they're more refined, very fresh and and with lovely clean flavours. It's got to be one of the best Chinese restaurants in Canberra, if not the best.

I find the food pretty average here, and it's cafe style with restaurant prices.
Ordered a caesar salad and the lettuce hadn't been dried properly, so at the end the lettuce was swimming in milky dressing water. Not very appetising.
Breakfast isn't too bad - I like the hash browns with the lemon in them.

I love this restaurant - the servings are very decent, but also of really good quality. You certainly would not go hungry. I usually order the veal tartufo nero - it's quite rich, but the veal is tender and the truffles are heavenly. The wait staff don't really seem to know what they are doing, but they are generally very pleasant. Getting the early bird special makes for an affordable night out with some really lovely food.
