This Place is in garden city shopping centre near the movie theatres. We have tried a few things on the menu on a Wednesdays. You can sit outside which is nice and big with tables or stools at tables. But it can be noisy. It is a bar and grill so the food is similar to what you get at pubs nothing fancy just placed on your plate. You have to order and pick up your order and get your own drinks "no table service".
This place gets very busy on Wednesday two for one, you have to wait in line to order, but you don't have to wait too long to get your meal. The meals are a good size, some times the steak is a little tough, but if you got a good set of teeth it is possible to get through this huge rump steak. Some times the chips have been warm not hot. The fisherman's feast was very greasy. The garlic prawn dish is tasteless. The veal and chicken schnitzel is very dry and thin. The atmosphere is good, but you can go to other restaurants and get table service for the same price and value.

This place open 24 hrs and it get busy, they could do with some extra staff as the staff are running around literally. We have been there a few times different times of day, the service is ok. You have to wait in line most of the time to get in but its worth the wait only for the pancakes and sweet crepes.
The ultimate crepe Two French crepes filled with cream cheese, sultanas, lemon juice and vanilla, served with raspberry coulis and vanilla ice cream is to die for, if this was your last meal You would die happy.
One thing that is ridicules that a person has to wait in line to pay for their bill, sometimes its been 10 minutes its annoying, one register for this huge restaurant. Their main meal are not too good, the savory crepes are awful not much content in there, you have to fish for fish in the seafood crepe and scratch around to find the chicken in the chicken crepe. The salad on the side is a good serving.
The main meals are priced just like most places, won't go back for a meal, but the breakfast pancakes are good. Sometimes the pancakes are under cooked, usually when they are busy, which makes them heavy. This place is great if you feel like something sweet at 2 am or any time.

This day we had been Whale watching, and we came back hungry. (and by the way, left hungry) Walking along the Marina we noticed on the menu board at Saks.....oysters Kilpatrick - $19.00 with a Han beer. Special of the day, we were going to have that and leave because the prices were bit expensive. But seeing we were hungry we order a main meal.
The wait staff were nice enough. We both ordered mains at the same time as entree, pork belly aprox $24.00 sounded good. The oysters came out in normal waiting period. These were good, nothing to rave about. We waited sooo long for the mains approx 45 minutes from the time we finished the entree, this was wed lunch so they were not busy.
Wow was this meal small I thought this was a sample of the main meal to come. I wouldn't have minded so much if it was nice. The pork belly was a slab of approx 2in by 4in under cooked fat with chewy rind. There were 2 grilled prawns that when you cut their heads off, this dark head juice oozed out this was a turn off.
There were 3 bits of chorizo sausage sitting on a dollop of what tasted like tomato relish, the relish was good. The best part of this place is sitting at a table at the edge of the water and watching fish swimming around, that was entertaining us while we waited and waited.

It is more expensive than your average restaurant so a half price spreet voucher sounded like the best way to try a restaurant that's won awards and has a two Michelin Star chef. The staff were unfriendly. And had a I don’t care attitude.
We had to wait for a table, because we had trouble getting through to book, we just turned up, on a Wednesday night. When they had a cancellation we were told we will get a table.
So when a table became available the waiter waved to us from 3 meters away indicating to follow him. So rude. I did not get up immediately, so he came 1/12 meters closer and said your table is ready, we get up and followed and he said to me didn’t you see me waving to you to come, I was waving and waving at you. Really unbelievable if we hadn’t paid I would have left.
We had to have beef because the people who cancelled had both ordered beef. I couldn’t have the salmon (we realised you had to order what you preferred to eat, when you rang and booked, salmon or beef). We felt annoyed we didn’t even want to order a drink not even the water they offered, thank God as they charge for tap water.
We got a small portion of meat that was supposed to be grilled, tasted like it was oven cooked, it came with two table spoons of mash potato two slithers of mushroom and a scraping of caramelized onion type of wine sauce on the beef. It wasn’t even nice.
I noticed that most everyone in the restaurant had a voucher this night. Sounds like a strategy to fill empty tables and make the place look busy to some poor tourist thinking this place must be good and it’s not.
Don’t bother even entering this place the atmosphere is cold and uncomfortable
We were so hungry we went the pancake manor across the road for a lovely huge pancake dessert. We went home happy then.

I have been there twice, because a friend lives in that area. They seem friendly enough, looks clean, and casual. The first time I wasn't impressed. But thought I'd give it another go. I would say the food is equivalent to your favourite Chinese buffet at the local mall, but double the price. Never again. Overpriced, awful food.
The peanut flavor of the beef satay was mild and it was slightly more yellow and watered down taste, and didn't taste like the usual satay.
After I expressed this to the staff I was informed that, that is the way they make it, and pointed to a lady on another table mention that she enjoyed hers!!. Not nice at all. The fried chicken was more batter than chicken. I need to mention the fried rice so bland and didn't taste fresh. If you're in the area and you're hungry, and you want to pay a little more than other Asian restaurants, and you want poor quality food, and nothing else is open try it out. Otherwise don't bother.
