Four in Hand was one of the best dining experiences I've had in Sydney!

The lamb for two was beautifully roasted and the sides (baby carrots, cheesy mash and fennel salad) balanced the dish very well. Although it was 89 dollars, it was an enormous serving. It could easily be shared between three.

The waiters were also very friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, there was a spill on my partner's jacket, but they gave us some money for dry cleaning no questions asked.

If you're going to try a 2 hat restaurant in Sydney, try Four in Hand!

Gumshara is a diamond in the effluent heap. Personally, I love the spare rib ramen. The soup is thick and porky - stay away if you don't like pork. It's an acquired taste to some extent, but extremely nice if you like that type of ramen.

Don't forget to order the side of soft boiled egg. Delicious!

Best pizzas I've had in Sydney. I've loved Italian food since I was 5, when my parents worked at an Italian restaurant and this really takes me back to that very first time I smelt that roasty garlic smell that is so ubiquitous in pizzerias. Superb.

Delicious little partridge, delicious black handkerchief pasta, delicious tagliolini... just superb. If you visit the bathroom during your stay, have a read of the wine testimonials. ;) Definitely recommend.

Unfortunately, like many top end restaurants, the entrees were much better than the main. Stay away from the duck! The pasta entrees are tasty - particularly the tagliotelli.

Best macarons in Sydney. Each one is either perfect or almost perfect. The flavours are creative with a Japanese twist. Zumbo, lift your game!

A reasonable price on the degustation despite all the recent accolades, kudos for that. The zen still life is one of *the* desserts. It's as good as that snow egg everyone was raving about. Very solid restaurant, but I must admit that other than the zen still life, there were not too many highs, certainly no lows.

Very rustic, very tasty and very busy. Since they don't take bookings for small tables you'll have to get in early. They let you wait at the bar if you're so inclined.

The suffolk lamb, brussel sprouts and Argentinian pavlova with dulce de leche are knockout dishes.

Also very reasonable, you'll walk away very full having paid less than 100 each. Obviously not cheap compared to say, Maccas, but why would you compare it to that? Only downside for some may be the lack of air conditioning, the table sharing and the noise. Not a quiet sit down kind of dinner.

Service with a smile! Delicious food - particularly enjoyed the amuse bouche (trout) and the 'greek salad'. Obviously their little take on a classic.

Very reasonably priced for what you get. The current weighted rating of 6.9 is a joke. Compare it to other restaurants in its class.

The service at est. is impeccable. The Balmain bug is one of the best dishes I've ever had. The value is very reasonable... for fine dining.
