Came here tonight (Sat 29/1/11) with two friends. The service was terrible, as others have commented, but the food was pretty good. One waitress was looking in my direction and didn't even see me waving my hand around to try get her attention, as no one had taken our orders after 15 minutes. The bartender had to tell another waitress to serve us.

Our waitress also appeared to be rushing us out of the restaurant as she collected two of our three plates and brought over the dessert menus, even though one of us was still finishing her main (which I pointed out to her). When my friend had actually finished her meal, we were chatting and the waitress came barging in between us to take her plate without an 'excuse me'.

All the dishes we ordered were pretty good. The restaurant was flexible with adding haloumi to my salad, which was nice. The desserts we tried (Chocolate Indulgence and Bougatsa) were delicious.

Overall, not too bad an experience, but the restaurant would do much better to have better-trained, intuitive staff on busy nights. I will probably go somewhere else next door, which is better value for money, provides better service and equally good food.

Came to Kazbah this morning with my family. Loved the set out of the cafe, with its beautiful lanterns! We ordered the lamb tagine, Kazbah omelette, feta and potato cake and eggs with turkish toast (my dish). Taste-wise it was all great, especially the tagine, and the presentation was lovely. With my dish, extras (such as mushrooms, onion marmalade etc) cost $3.90 each, which I thought was a bit steep considering I only received 2 slices of haloumi cheese. Would recommend this place for its food, but perhaps not for its value for money.

Sideways has been a favourite for me for years. Almost everything I have tried is amazing, and the waitstaff are lovely and welcoming. I consider this cafe to be fairly reasonably priced, considering the high standard of the dishes and service. Would highly recommend the corn fritters, BLAT, chicken burger, milkshakes and their homemade muffins, brownies and apple & date cake!

My favourite pizza joint in Sydney. I usually order the Mexicana, Supreme, Salsicce and Sweet Chilli Chicken pizzas, although I have tried most of the pizzas on the menu and they're all excellent. My favourite pastas are the Salsicce and Fettuccine Pomo Doro.

I usually order takeaway, but have also eaten within the restaurant. When full, it can be very noisy, but the atmosphere always remains fun rather than raucous.
Mario and his team are efficient, always have our orders ready within the time they say and are friendly and polite every time. Would highly, highly recommend this restaurant!

I have been to this salon three times now. The staff are truly lovely and friendly, and they really try to accommodate your needs and achieve the look you are after.

Everytime I have gone, they have given me some incentive to come back, which I do! These include vouchers for blow-dries and credit notes so it is an excellent program they have in place.

I would highly recommend Tatjana Vaune Salon for anyone who wants their hair coloured, which is what I go for. They also provide services for massage and facials, making this a well-rounded luxury salon.

This is my favourite gelato place in Sydney! The owners and their staff are super friendly, and always give my sisters and I extra large scoops as they recognise us! Would recommend everything, especially the chocolate mudcake, apple pie, hazelnut and mango sorbet.

I love this cafe! It's fantastic for people watching and all the dishes I have tried are amazing. Highlights include the hotcakes with berries and mascarpone, egg and omelette dishes and all day breakfast. Serving sizes are generous and the service prompt and attentive. It also appears that to work here you must be model material, no complaints from myself or my friends!

Came to Baroque three nights ago with 2 girlfriends. 2 of us were waiting for an hour for the third to arrive and I felt bad taking up a table for so long without ordering but the waitstaff were lovely about it.

We ordered 3 different mains: the snapper, the lamb and the risotto. The serving sizes of the first two dishes were satisfactory, but not overly generous. The quality of the dishes was very good, however, the only problem I had was with the portion of my risotto, when it arrived I was unsure if it was an entree or main.

I mentioned this to the waiter when she collected the dishes and she was very understanding and said she'd pass the message along. When dessert came we were given three complimentary macarons, which I thought was a lovely gesture and a sign of excellent customer service.

Overall, I was impressed with the level of attention and service we received! I would definitely go back for a special occasion!

Went here for dessert tonight with my sister, so I can't comment on savouries. This was the only restaurant along the strip that would allow us to only order desserts without mains, which made a good impression. We found service polite and helpful, and the desserts delicious! The chocolate fondant was amazing.
