Food is better than average but the tables, plates and utensils are oily to touch, would have been better if they keep the place clean a bit. There were no service since all the staffs quickly disappeared to the kitchen the entire time (only two tables including us were seated), we did not mind much but find this very odd.

3 of us went there for dinner on my mother's birthday and were squeezed between two large groups. Our experience there wasn't very pleasant since the groups were extremely loud and the kitchen staff were too busy entertaining them. Our food portion was small, bland and expensive, uniforms are dirty and unauthentic. To be honest this place is westernized style of teppanyaki, you only go there to get food thrown at you.

This place is located at your average local street but with the best food I've tasted in a long while. Food quality is served quick and hot from wok. Their lunch special is only $7.50 with plenty of choice such as Satay chicken, Chilli Chicken, Mongolian beef, Sweet&sour pork just to name a few, as well as Burgers, fish and chips etc.
(edit on 2/3/11: their meals for lunch are now $6.50 including a free bottle of water. however their previous flavours which i raved are gone... i have tried their food several times since november 2010 and unfortunately they don't taste the same anymore... prices are still a great value tho)

Ordered the sau long bau, dumpling, drunk chicken, and beef noodles. Sau long bau was average: pastry was nice and thin, but I reckon you could get something very similar from the chinese supermarket frozen section for $5. Dumpling was great: pastry nice and thin, beautifully wrapped, veggies and meat inside was generous and flavoursome.
Drunk chicken: good but portion waaaay too small and presentation was below average. Beef noodles: tasted excellent but I also reckon you could get this exactly the same for around $8 at a nearby taiwanese restaurant, or noodles just by itself for $3. Our order was charged a total of $44 which was abit too expensive for 4 appetizer sized dishes that only half filled our stomach.
Interior of the restaurant was ok, our table space was roomie and the side sauces was tidy and clean. Service was fast and friendly. IMO cost of the food seems to be over-charged for something that are average/unimpressive, considering we have to wait over 30 minutes for 2 person to be seated I expected more. One thing I would like to suggest is that they should have serve tea as a default, as everyone knows tea is very major in chinese catering just like bread and butter, it was a let down when we were served just tap water.
I wouldn't recommend going to this restaurant since you can pretty much get the same stuff much cheaper at other restaurants without the wait. For the price you pay, you are better off going for yumcha or sushi train at the city.

To me the NY steak which I ordered was welldone instead of medium rare which I ordered, it has also gone a bit cold and was fully covered with tomato sauce, as if they were hiding something and very hard to taste the steak itself. My fiance's veal was no better as the meat was tough and tasted exactly like my steak, covered with overly thick white sauce. However, I must say both our sides were quite good, my chips were hot and crunchy and the veggies does not taste bland at all.
As for the atmosphere the place only seated with 3 tables that night so I cannot say for sure but everyone there seem to have been there for quite some time yet it took over 30 minutes to serve our food.
Overall the experience was between okay and unimpressive, the portion was relatively large though so you'll definitely get your stomach filled. But for the price we paid I reckon you could get a better deal next door or from the next suburb at Hurstville.
