I have to agree with the other review, the dosais are a specialty, one of the reasons we keep going back. The other is my that vegetarian partner loves having too many tasty options to choose from, that are not just pasta offerings.
The wine list is good and banquets are great value if you have a group. Service and turn-around from ordering to having something in front of you are both very good. Just watch out for the heat in some of the chutneys, they can be 'creepers', but they taste great.

This was a pleasant find in a 'blink and you'd miss it' location. A relative who lives nearby suggested it for dinenr and I was pleasantly surprised. A great deal of the raw ingredients, for example tofu, are made on the premises. Being in an agricultural area also means that the produce used is very fresh. This all added up to a fantastic meal where every dish was a delicate balance of flavours, nothing too overpowering.
A good selection of very reasonably priced wines on the wine list. The desserts were refreshingly simple and not overly sweet. The owners have tried to use the space to its best advantage and this is a bit hit and miss. The cavernous roofspace is adorned with banners, but there is still the bain marie in the front of premises. But in a town with limited shopfronts, they've done well.
Service was attentive, engaging and prompt. If you are passing through and have the time, give Yiche a go, you won't be disappointed.

Having eaten here regularly when in Sydney, I need to say that overall I think that Corelli's represents great value. To my mind, nothing comes near it on the King St strip. The food is always tasty and the portions are generous. The bit where Corelli's consistently falls down is the wait-staff and their attention to 'service'; a bit hit and miss. Some days, you can be served in no time at all, others, like this past Sunday, you can be ignored for about 20 minutes and no amount of trying to get the attention of the staff will result in you getting to place an order.
I've taken note of the good wait staff and will only walk through the door if I notice any of them working. So this said, do try it, but do not be disappointed if you are ignored and have to go and place your order with the chef, it's just the way the place 'works'.

Ate here for Valentines day and the food was great, delicate flavours and a really interesting mix of ingredients. Only down side to the service that night was the 'couples' had to share the main dining room with some families with young-ish children. I'm completely fine with eating with children around, but given that there are other rooms available in the restaurant, these may have been put to use accomodating those who wanted an intimate dining experience.

Was here on 12 February for a first sitting and the food was deee-licious. I would recommend the scallops if you like them bursting with delicate flavour and a great texture. Agree that the food is asian fusion and a totally great restaurant to have a table for two or a get-together. Service was exemplary.

Definitely a restaurant to have the banquet, just to try out the varied flavours of a number of dishes. Went here recently and it was quite full and busy, but the often rushed wait staff still had time to talk to us about the food that was being served. Would consider going back again, just to try the other dishes on the menu we missed out on this time.

Don't go here expecting haute cuisine or elegant service and surrounds. This is a dumpling hall with more than a dash of asia thrown into the mix. The food is great and cheap, even if you are sitting back to back and cheek to cheek with the adjacent tables. Be patient, the waiters will get back to you, just help yourself to the free tea while they do. Fill up at lunch and stay that way for the rest of the day for under $10.

Went here on Saturday evening and found it a good venue for some interesting and wholesome fare. More importantly, the wine list is great, and we would suggest that you do try the aged and blended stock wines.

Had the five course lunch here last Friday and I must say that the Flower Drum had the best attention to service that I have ever encountered. The food was similar to Chairman and Yip in Canberra, exquisite flavours and great produce. Service was unobtrusive, but engaging if you wanted to discuss something about the food and wine. Did not realise that we had spent over two and three quarter hours at lunch when we went. I'll be booking in again for the next time I'm down in Melbourne, and I'll remember to wear a collared shirt.

Went here at the beginning of November 2009 and the food and service was great. Small intimate venue and a good level of service. Was not expecting the glitz and glamour of others in the Melbourne Building, and it felt a little like travelling back in time to the 60's-70's. Excellent wine list, if a bit on the expensive side, but that is the trade off. The steaks came out perfect, accompanied by steamed vegies, a baked potato and choice of condiments. The chocolate mousse for dessert rounded off an enjoyable meal. We'll definitely go back there again.
