My husband and I saw Bonds Corner while we were on a drive through Northbridge around midday on Tuesday and decided on the spur of the moment to stop there for lunch because the outdoor dining area on the wide footpath and the general atmosphere of the place looked so inviting, relaxed and cheerful. We are so glad we stopped there because the cafe completely delivered on the first impressions we both had.

The service was so friendly and efficient (the owner, Alan, stopped for a chat with us), they do an excellent all-day breakfast (I had the vegetarian brekky that came with the absolute best corn fritters I've ever tasted!) and my husband had the gourmet mushrooms on toast, which were exquisite. The Toby's Estate coffee was splendid, and Alan even made us a 'Black Forest' latte and hot chocolates for dessert, not normally my type of thing but I am Completely converted.

We will be sure to travel back to Northbridge just to dine at Bonds Corner. The vibe is perfect and it's a place that welcomes kids (great selection of toys) just as much as adults (great selection of magazine and historical photos of Northbridge and surrounds). This place is a complete gem!
