Food was tasty, service was appalling. I had to ask for clean wine glasses 3 times. The menu is incredibly over priced for what you get. The staff are not as knowledgeable as the previous reviewer would lead you to believe. It is in the lobby of the Mantra hotel, it shares the toilets which are dirty and not worthy of a place charging $30+ for main meals. I would not visit this place, save your money and go somewhere else.

Food here is terrible, portions are small based on price. Location is beautiful. Guys I would seriously look at the company doing your catering and get rid of them. What more can I say, expect little pay a lot and you won't be let down.

What a gem. Stumbled across this place on Friday night. The food is refreshing, tasty and very good value. The red curry duck was very tasty but, unfortunately, the duck was a little tough. The other dishes were wonderful. Service was impeccable. Well done. Will definitely be back again. Highly recommend this place.
One point, fix the front door guys.

The food here is way below average and certainly not worth what they charge. I had the Paprika Schnitzel, the paprika sauce was ok, even though flooding the plate with sweet red sauce is not what I call cooking food.

The service was terrible the staff are rude and useless. Maybe if they spent more time on the presentation of the food and less on their unnecessarily long finger nails they might get it right. I have never experienced service like this, but, unfortunately, this seems to be becoming the norm for Sydney. There are so many better places than this to eat and I cannot believe people are still happy to spend their money here and the place is so busy. What is it they are doing?

Having eaten here many times over the years but not for the last few years, I was very disappointed when I visited last night. The "Indian" food is boring and bland, absolutely no flavour or spice and nothing like anything you get in India. The service was terrible, the people working there really don't want to be there. The dinner and movie deal is a real rip off now, not the good deal it used to be especially as the food is now so bad. Dinner for $19.80 and with the movie $29.80. You would be much better to visit somewhere else for much better food and service and value. Give this place a miss.

We were welcomed instantly on arrival by the lovely Eileen, even though the place was packed to bursting. We were seated immediately and explained the specials on the menu. I had the christmas turkey roast and my partner had the Irish stew. The stew was a fantastic modern version of a traditional Irish stew, great flavours cooked to perfection and a great sized portion.

The roast turkey was a little bland, the portion s are great the meal all in all was tasty, maybe I should have gone for something more adventurous. The service was friendly, funny and constant, we were never left waiting for anything. Eileen is a wonderful host, engaging and funny. We even tried the psychics, they were great too, a fun way to end off an evening. The only downside is the place was so crowded, which in some ways adds to the ambience but makes it difficult to hold a conversation sometimes.

I have to agree with some of the comments about the lighting, it is very moody though not mood enhancing. The service was excellent even though not from Andrew, must have been his day off. The food, if a little overpriced is thoughtful, innovative and fresh. We had the 3 cheese souffle which was tasty but a little heavy, the cajun salmon was cooked to perfection with a perfect amount of spice. My partner had the pot pie which was a little disapointing. You must try the Piglets Platter for dessert. All in all a great little place hidden away in Summer Hill, give it a try.

The food here is terrible, the bathrooms were very dirty when I was there and the senior staff seemed more interested in his visiting girlfriend than cleaning the bathrooms or serving the waiting people. I was very excited to hear about a mexican place in Surry Hills, if you want over priced sloppy food then this is the place, you can pay more a cafe pacifico but the food is excellent.
