Went here a few weeks ago after seeing the refurb and menu redesign. Went with 6 friends, I decided and my mate too order the steak Sandwich, which wasn't cheap mind you.
On arrival it came in English muffins for the bread. I couldn't believe it. In all my times of eating either cafe sandwiches and Steak Sandwiches I have bever seen them served in a English Muffin. I called the waiter over and enquired if they had run out of bread. He stated with abit of attitude "nope that how they always do them".
Because it had all the oil and juices sucked up into the mcmuffin bread which made a big soggy mess before I had even started it, I requested to send it back and order something else.
I asked for the Chicken caesar salad instead. My friends who were with me agreed that this was not how you make a lunch meal. Big disappointment with the Deck and I will not be going back. The salad was just ordinary and nothing special. For the prices they charge this isn't good enough.

Went here for breakfast today. Ordered the Badde Manors Big Brekkie. Came with a big black hair sitting on the mushrooms. Sent it back only to have the same plate returned 40 seconds later with the hair removed with the comment "It was only on the mushrooms.
Needsless to say I didn't eat any of it. Tried my friends breakfast and was very bland and oily. Butter was already melted in little tubs they give you.
Tables were so cramped. They also sat us right next to coffee maker who insisted on bashing the little coffee holder thing as hard as he could into the coffee bin so every 30 seconds you would hear Bang bang bang.
Overall cute little place but seating is so cramped for 4 people to sit at and prices were quite expensive and food was unimpressive. Won't be going back again. Ohh yeah I ordered a Mocha and when I got to the bottom of the Cup found massive chunks of coco stuck to the bottom as it obviously wasn't stirred enough.
Ended up going up the road to get a better breakfast as this was a very unpleasant eating experience.

This place is great love the food always fresh and easy. However took some friends here last week and they all complaint of a bad dishwater smell when down the back.
This floors were also very very slippery and they obviously need to steam clean every night. Trying to watch the waiters walk up and down the ramp hold on for life to the railing to avoid slipping over was a little beyond a joke.
I usually sit up the front and never noticed before. However food is great and always satisfies and price is right- It keeps me coming back.
Was just a little annoying when I dragged a heap of friends in for lunch to smell and see some issues. Hopefully they can cleanup the restaurant a little and keep the focus on the food as its awesome.

Not bad but not great.
Pros- Nice surrounds and layout, interesting cutlery and decorations, Good service
Cons- Bad coffee, flavorless ingredients, pricey for what really is just an open sandwich on bread.
Would I go again... Probably not. Menu needs more flavours and source better ingredients as most I tried where lacking freshness and were quite bland. Salad was wilting was dead tips and Coffee was so bitter I couldn't drink it.

Went here last Thursday night for first time and wow, amazing space. Arrived at 6.45 and had already booked tickets before hand. There were 3 other tables already seated a big family table of 8 and a couple sitting right next to sound booth on small elevated area.
The weird thing was we asked to be seated and she walked us right to the table directly below where the couple who were obviously out for a romantic dinner., basically our heads were about 30 cms away from there knees. There were heaps and heaps of tables available, why she chose to seat us all in one area I had no idea. After getting our bearings we asked if we could move tables and told yes sure no problems sit where ever we liked. So we moved to another table about 3 away from our first table.
We were given drinks and food menus. Cocktails and spirits were around $18 this was quite expensive I thought. I ordered a capriosca and was just ok. I also ordered a lychee martini and didn't taste like fresh lychee's. Also the lychee in the glass was clearly from a tin and lacked freshness and taste.
For dinner I ordered the pork belly for $32. Now for $32 I expected a Wow dish but was very disappointed. Was very dry and was just stacked around some baked potatoes and had 2 slithers of veggies beneath. This dish really needed a Salad or something as was very boring. Flavours didn't really come out just some baked pork with a couple of tired veggies.
The shows were great and really enjoyed the entertainment but Lizottes really needs to work on the quality of the food and drinks and pricing needs to be a lot more competitive. Next time we will have dinner elsewhere and probably just go for the show and a drink. I hope they can improve the menu selections and improve some of their dishes and the decor is beautiful and is a wonderful space.
But most people couldn't afford to visit regularly due to the expensive food and drinks.

My boyfriend took me here recently for our anniversary and the experience was amazing! Loved the service and an outstanding cocktail list. I myself am a student and don't normally post reviews however I thought this place is such a gem and the food was fantastic! Scallops entree were slightly creamy but beautiful with the prosciutto, oysters were delicious and creamy! For mains we had the tenderloin, recommended by the staff. It was cooked perfect for medium rare, tasty and really tender. I ordered the trumpeter with ravioli underneath. I am a big pasta fan and I really liked the ravioli, fish was very moist and so soft it almost melts in the mouth.
Also, you have to order the naan bread! It was so yummy not at all oily nor dry - perfect balance. The salad was delicious, mozzarella with tomato and basil, the pesto worked really well with tomato. Finally the cheese platter was fantastic! It topped off the night!
Drinks were a real experience. I had a cold and told the bartender who then put extra ginger in my cocktail - Jessica rabbit. It was amazing, perfect hint of ginger. Cocktail is one of the most extensive I've seen. Highly recommend this place for its food ambience service and drinks!

This place is starting to feel a little tired, used to be the best on the beach but food standards and portion sizes have dropped. Quality and freshness of flavours and food seems to be dropping. Hopefully they can get back to where they started which was quality food and fresh flavours for a great price.
Service is starting to feel a little rushed and menu needs revamping.

Big disappointment, went here 1 week after opening. Nice place but some thing isn't right and I couldn't put my finger on it. Maybe was the bessa brick star patter fence around the tables or the lack or color, or maybe the security and management hanging around the bar ogling everyone.
We went for dinner and don't expect to get away by spending under $60 this didn't include drinks, I ordered the lamb and was very disappointing, way to oily and on a fried potato fritter thing and garnished with some green slithers of a tasteless juice with peas in it.
Could only eat about 1/4 of it and wasn't impressed. I told the waiter but was just blown of and told thanks for the feedback. But nothing offered in return for my bad meal. Wife had salad which was ok but everything was way to overpriced. What ever happened to steak and chips and a hamburger.
I can understand what they are trying to do but if you're going to charge the prices they are it needs to be a lot better after all can go down to the beach to a proper restaurant and get a better meal for the same price.
Drinks where ordered off the special cocktail list at the table. Was $14 and it took about 20 mins to come, I got worried when after I went to the bar and ordered my drink they gave me one of those buzzer things that alert you tow when your food is ready.
Never seen these for drinks before, considering we were the only ones I could see ordering cocktails I wasn't impressed 20mins later. This place could really rock but it's bordering prison lunch room feel, there was a great duet band playing over the other side of the bar but we couldn't see from the eating area.
Hopefully the food will improve and they change the menu to more casual fresh style and drop the prices. The bar is fantastic and they serve all 4 sides so you don't have to join a scrum just to get a drink like some places. Hopefully they will try and cozy it up a little and make a little more intimate and while your at it change the menu and pricing.
Response from Management:
Hi Matt, thank you for your opinion and feedback ... Being our first weeks after opening, the hotel was certainly in a launch phase and was in the process of bedding down all food & drink service ... Since opening we have gained alot of constructive and postive feedback and have implemented manly changes including a full menu review. I welcome you to pop in back to the hotel to try us again at your convenience and we'll shout. If you would like to take me up on this offer, please email me personally so I can send you some vouchers at cameron_bayfield@bayfieldhotels.com.au.

Just brilliant, had the degustation and was very impressed. Great service and atmosphere. Love this place and I should visit more often. Our server Sarah was professional and polite and very informative when asked about ingredients in dishes etc.
The Scallops were to die for and so was the Wagu cheek. For the quality of food and wine selection here are very competitive and they are definitely offering great food and service with down to earth pricing.
I love the fact that the kitchen is visible when you enter as the smell of the food really gets your appetite going. Will be going back very soon with friends.

Don't ever go here on a Sunday as I just did, food was basic and just what ever could be made that didn't require a chef or cook. Had the Crumbed calamari that was too oily and seemed to be frozen and fried. Aldo has the Chorizzo sausage. Was cold with warm spots like it had just been microwaved.
Decor was dull as the music. They seemed to had tried to achieve the old Indiana joines style restaurant but failed. Seats were so uncomfortable and needed new padding. Service was really slow took us over 15 minutes after ordering to get our Bourbons and coke. When they did come coke was flat and tasted like it was from a bottle that had been shaken up and left to go flat.
They kept coming into the area we had booked about 5 times with drinks and food asking weather or not we had ordered it, only to walk away again in search of the table that did. "Became quite funny". Very disappointing bill came to $130 for 4 of us with 2 mocktails and 2 bourbons and 2 small reheated meals. Very unhappy all round won't be going back!
