I’ve been coming here for about three years. Throughout this time I have always know what to expect, good fast food, with horrible and usually rude service. We all know the guy who takes your order and at times basically grunts at you. I’ve often been seated and halfway through my meal been asked to pick up all the plates and move up a few tables just to accommodate their seating arrangement.

I’ve have never liked how they treat their customers, including myself, but we have always put up with it because the food was good, comes out fast and is relevantly cheap. However, over the last few months I’ve noticed the place started to empty out and I know why. You would think this would mean they would begin to treat their regulars a little nicer. However, this has only caused them to become ruder and just outright obnoxious.

Last night I watched them move three separate couples in the middle of their meal just because they wanted a row of free tables. I felt bad for the people and you could see by the look on their faces they were not happy either. It actually infuriated one couple in their 50s so much they asked for their bill immediately and walked out with their food uneaten. To make matter worse when they left they decided they wanted us, with an entire table full of food to stand up and take their place.

Now I can understand moving us around before our meal but with a whole table full of food, and watching three very disgruntled couples obviously get agitated you would think they would stop. Now like I said I’m used to this place so know what to expect, but having us pick up our plates and take a table in the middle of two angry couples was one of the most insulting and infuriating things that has ever happened to me in my restaurant life.

However, what makes matters even worse is the fact I’ve started to realise they are systematically taking money off the top of your bill each time you pay in cash. The reason I say this is the last four times we have been there and paid cash we have been short-changed $4-$7. Yes not much but enough to annoy. The first two times we just let it go. But the last time we brought it to their attention they had the nerve to get angry with us.

So last night when our bill came which was $37 and we put down a $50 it was upsetting that we were given $6 back. When I told a girlfriend of mine that it happened again she said “yeah it happens to me every time I go there, they always skim a few dollars off.” So as much as it pains me to say this I can't go back there again. They are not only rude but have literally started ripping customers off.

My advice is don’t go, unless you wanted to be treated like cattle, and if you do, make sure you check your bill.

A good indication of a place that cares about coffee is the very simple fact that when you order a long black or espresso they should also provide you with a glass of water. How simple this is but almost nowhere does this. Its not a grip in fact I don't ever expect to come when I'm in Sydney. However, when it does I'm happy. Went there on Thursday and not only did they place a glass of water next to my long black when it was delivered, it was also one of the best coffees I've had in Sydney. It beats, Latteria, Bar Coluzzi, Fratelli P and Mecca. Like I said it was only one coffee but so far so good. Keep it up Bar H.

Three of us went there for dinner last night. Mains were great. Service was great. Loved the setting. However, we all ordered desserts so had all three sweets which were on offer. Consequently the three of us came to same conclusion. Although the deserts looked beautiful and were well presented, they failed to delight, or even put a smile on your face. If they get this right then I would say this would be a favorite yet this is letting them down.

Don't know why this place does not have a chefs hat. SMH you need to review this place again. With so many Thai restaurants in Sydney its great to see someone who can place a modern twist on this cuisine. Forget Longrain and Jimmy Liks this is seriously the best Thai in Sydney!

The worst service I have ever experienced! Do not eat here! Go here at your own peril. I find it hard to select the words to describe how utterly rude the waitress in this place was. This was our first time here and we came after hearing good things from our friends who are all weekend regulars.

We arrived Friday 10:30 am for breakfast where there were three other patrons. In light of this we sat for 25 minutes while the blond waitress in short-shorts walked around wiping down empty tables and chairs, only stopping to check her phone and send text messages. After calling and motioning to her eight times we were about to walk out when a nice young pregnant woman walked over to take our order.

Unfortunately, that was the last we would see of her as she disappeared leaving us with our very disgruntled blond waitress. From there things only got worse. When she brought over our coffees she literally threw them on the table so fast they spilled everywhere. Yet I can't say she even notice as she quickly raced back to the register where she grabbed her mobile phone and began texting. When our food arrived it was a case of deja va where she slammed my partners plate down on the table so fast she actually had to catch it before it fell into her lap.

Yet once again she was off racing back to the register picking up her mobile phone where she continued to send and receive messages for the rest of our meal. When we realized she was not coming back to clear our table or offer us the option of ordering anything else, I made my way up to the register where I stood a meter away from her for a full two minutes as she continued to read yet another text message.

Finally I said, “Excuse me could I just get the bill?” “Huh” she replied, never looking up from her phone. “The bill” I said. “Oh yeah yeah yeah, just give me a sec” she said angrily. And there I would stand waiting as she actually proceeded to type a text. It was only after she hit send did she walk over to the register and get the bill.

Overall the service here was so bad as I write this it almost seems comical. Although to be honest this is only a short example of how rude this girl was. The sad thing about the place was the food was actually pretty good. I understand this is a café and things are casual but this was just plain insulting. Its no wonder in the time we were there two other couples actually sat down and walked after failing to be served.

Love this place. Great French food, always a pleasure to dine here. Although I will say depending on which waitress you get they can be somewhat interesting at times.

For me this is not only my favorite Sushi in NSW but favorite restaurant overall. I love sitting at the bar and watching my food being prepared. I find the not only the sushi but others such as the dumplings and salt and pepper cuttlefish amazing (I have to say the salt and pepper cuttlefish is even better than Golden Century's salt and pepper squid). A big thanks to Ian one of the sushi chefs there, if you can get a seat next to him I highly recommend it as he absolutely informative and skilled, he is a real bonus to the place!

Common guys, you're charging three chef hat prices for a one chef hat restaurant. Nice view but not worth the prices they charge.

$4.5 for a late, $5 for a green tea, standing at the door beside the sign which said wait here to be seated for over 8 minutes without a greeting before I seated myself. What else is there to say. Don’t waste your time or money like the fool I was.
