I would have never imagined such a good ramen place exists in a dimmed corner of a food court if my friend did not keep going on about it on facebook. It is not like any ramen you've had around Sydney, and I've seen them being described as 'the soup is so thick it's like liquid meat'.
The soup is so thick that you'll feel a bit sick after you finish the bowl, but its so good that you'll crave it again pretty soon. We would order the pickled cabbage to go with it as it adds a bit of spice and the crunch gives the noodle a good texture.
I love how no matter how much rave reviews and press they've had, they're still in that humble corner serving the same ramen at the low price.

I work in Pyrmont so it caught my eyes when I first saw Kebo has Green tea latte on their menu. They make their green tea lattes from powder, a much stronger green tea sweet-bitterness to satisfy my asian tastebuds. Their lunch time sandwiches are plenty generous and flavourful too. One downside is they get pretty busy at peak hours (9am and noon) so there could be a bit of a wait.

Went there for 'Let's do Lunch!' during good food month, and the waiter suggested us to order more because the let's do lunch portions are quite small. So we ordered some tapas, and those tapas are the highlights of the meal! Their Let's do lunch stuff is pretty average for its price though. The decoration and views are stunning, and the waiters are very attentive (and all very European looking).

We visited Wasabi bistro on a Thursday at 7:15 using a coupon. There was not lot of people when we arrived, so we've never had the problem of food coming out slow, in fact, the timing is really good. The food is not authentic Japanese as its run by Koreans, but most of it taste quite nice.
The first entree of fried tofu was probably the best of all dishes, lacked the turnip mash though. Beef tataki was decent, tempura used decent sizeable prawns and was crispy, but gyoza was a disappointment, its very much like frozen dumplings with pan fried but not crispy skin. Salmon roll was confusing, nigiri type salmon on top of a tuna roll with mayonnaise. The mains were Way over-seasoned, and the katsu wasn't as crispy as it should be.
At the end of the night, we felt like we had alot of decent food in our stomach, made out of solid ingredients, and well worth the money spent!

While waiting for seats in the restaurant we were given the option of seating inside of a private room which requires a minimum spend. We were a group of 7 and the minimum spend will require us to spend $50 each so we rejected the offer. 5 minutes later the waiter came back to seat us in the private room without minimum spend so the ambience for us is definitely good. The aircon was really cold though, which later on during the meal we learnt to appreciate.
The food is Delicious! I love chilli and the food is not only chilli but also very aromatic. However, my partner suffered alot because he's not as much of a chilli eater as I am. The munk bean soup and water boiled beef are particularly good.
We used an entertainment book voucher and a full meal only costed us $20 each and the 3 boys had beers. Would definitely go back, probably leave my partner out of it but I sure enjoyed the spice!

My partner who is Vietnamese ordered dinner for the two of us. The entree of the summer rolls were very nice, the amount of mint is just right and taste very refreshing.
The mains are a sweet and sour soup with a claypot salmon, which both of them tastes good and authentic, but somehow the soup taste very overly sweet towards the bottom, which we suspect it was because of the canned pineapple with syrup, but the last of the soup became very unedible for us.
One waiter whom is a Vietnamese was very helpful suggesting dishes to the table next to us, was attentive to every table in the restaurant, and has a good knowledge of the culture and the food.

Have recently become a regular to Sunflower for its value and food. Their rice dishes are my regular meals, while the savoury crepes are indulgence food (very rich on cheese and fillings). Portions are generous, and the food taste good, also like their milk tea for additional $2.

We went on a coupon set menu, so overall it was a really nice dinner for the $$ we paid for. The Chardonnay and pear cider we ordered we delicious, the salad was a bit bold, I'm not sure I like a big chunk of beetroot, maybe others would enjoy it. Starter chicken corquettes were nice, a little salty, but accompanied by really nice sauce. Main slow cooked lamb was delicious, effortless to cut with what looks more like a butter knife, and the meat is very tender. Bf mentioned more gravy/sauce would be nice, he feels that it gets dry towards the end. Like previous review, the dessert was like miniature snacks, it was disappointing. It tasted okay, but I would be very gutted if I had to pay good money for it. Portion is not enough for alot of guys I would imagine despite it was a 3 course meal, fed me just right, bf was still wanting more.

Rave about their salads! the two that we've tried (green apple and mushrooms) are both warm salads, and the green apple one is especially refreshing. Tom yum came a bit too salty but generous on the good big fresh prawns. All the curry and rice dishes I've had has not disappointed yet. Its unfortunate that it is not at a convenient location, but for anyone that enjoys a meal of good fresh thai food should definitely try this place.

Food is very unique, used alot of herbs which I loved! Went for lunch on a Friday, I ordered the lamb shanks ($18) where the meat just peels off the bone, accompanied by nice herb-ish rice (slightly soggy for me though). Colleagues were sharing dishes put together by them for $20/pp and everyone left the restaurant fed and very happy. The inside would be a bit crowded and stuffy, but their outside area is very open spaced.
