After not visiting for years we dropped in one Thursday evening and were pleased we did, the service and food both impressive. They served fresh sour dough bread to start, and I had a salad starter of beetroot, goats cheese, Hierloom tomatoes and walnuts which was delicious. I then had rib eye, which was huge, juicy, succulent and cooked beautifully. Nothing could be faulted during our meal here and we will go back!

I can't believe its taken me so long to try Din Tai Fung! Went today for lunch and had about a 10 minute wait, but we chose our food whilst waiting and once we were seated food begun to arrive within 5 minutes. The vegetarian "jiao zi" dumplings were my favorite, but we enjoyed every dish we had, no msg, no grease, delicate, soft flavours yum yum can't wait to go back and take all my friends!

Yes its a little on the more expensive side than your average yum cha restaurant, however, The service is great, the food is clean and the place is so hygienic it is well worth it!

We really enjoyed our evening at Ecco. Loved all the food, some real Italian classics done with a twist, we had zucchini flowers stuffed with potato and mozzarella (yum!) gnocchi with prawns and cream (melt in your mouth!) and eggplant involtini stuffed with pesto pasta (delicious). The service was good and the atmosphere was buzzy and the view is lovely. For us this restaurant is off the beaten track, which we really appreciate and will definitely go back.

Don't bother with yum cha here. Wanting to give it a go we went there but as soon as we saw the menu we decided against it! It used to be good but its gone down hill. Service was slow and forgetful and the food was just not nice at all. To make matters worse, upon leaving I spotted a cockroach under our table. Next time I will venture to the city.

So so disappointing. From the minute we arrived. The service was so snooty (on a Wednesday!). We arrived at 10:58 and were told morning tea started at 11 and were not allowed to proceed into the dining room until 11 (yes, a whole 2 minutes....). The morning tea, at $27 per person is mostly mini sweets and 3 lame finger sandwiches (for 2) and the quality was simply lacking.

The coffee servings are small. My mother and I laughed at the service because it was near impossible to get anyone's attention which was bizarre seeing as it was fairly quiet. For an extra $10 you can upgrade to the afternoon tea, which gets you a scone and a mini cheese and spinach puff. Not good value at all. The only good thing about the Tea Room is the room itself, its lovely. We won't be back, nor would I recommend this place to anyone, there are much nicer high teas in Sydney.

On a recent visit to Leichhardt we came to this cafe twice we loved it so much. The service is great. The coffee is near perfect. The food is fresh and fabulous, and the canoli is better than my grandmother's! And its so reasonably priced!

I came here for dinner with a group of 15 so we were in the private dining room. I really enjoyed it, and look forward to going back to sample more of what they have! For $50 we had a choice of 4 mains & 4 deserts which I felt was good value for the food that we received. I had barramundi on a bed of lentils and it was cooked to perfection. My desert choice was a big delicious tirramisu. We shared some entrees across the table (extra charge) and the potato fritters were so yummy it was hard to stop at one. The wine list featured several of my favorites so it was a great experience and I will be back!

Having had a bad experience here over a year ago with a group dinner, my husband & I decided to return in hope that things had improved, (just 2 of us) but unfortunately not! We arrived early on a saturday night, the restaurant was empty however the only place the rude and unwelcoming ladies at the front desk would offer us was a seat in front of the smoking grill. If it was the only seat available, we would have understood, but the fact there was plenty of other tables available baffled us. We decided to eat in the bar and whilst the food was good (just good, not amazing...) the service was horrendous. It is overpriced and there is much better japanese food at my local sushi train. Will never return, Toko has lost its sparkle.

Ordered delivery last week and it was good enough to warrant ordering again this week, unfortunately, both pizza's were over cooked, tasteless and unsatisfying. Cardboard might have tasted better. The garlic bread was bursting with flavour but was undercooked and, therefore, doughy. Shame they couldn't be consistent because next pizza will be from Love Supreme.

I can see why some people might not like Jackies, it is quite the spot for the locals who "like to lunch." With Jackie herself working the floor the service was as good as can be expected for a busy cafe. When the sun is shining it is a lovely spot to sit for lunch and the menu is quite diverse with salads, pastas, sushi and sandwiches and a good selection of lunch time wines to go with if required.

In my mood I opted for a chicken baguette which I don't have any complaints about and I do look forward to returning on a sunny day with some friends to sample more of the menu and sip on some vino. The sushi platter looked amazing, as did the steak sandwich!
