Used a scoupon when purchasing these you must read and abide by the fine print. I actually rang for my booking the day after purchasing my scoupon and left message on answering machine they rang back I booked I showed up on time and walked out 3 hours later. I didn't muck them round I confirmed my appointment the day before and received really good value and service and I'm not even from Sydney.

I also had a scoupon and loved the price and the service. Made an appointment as from another state months before I travelled and was 5 minute walked from hotel gotta love that. Colour and cut for the price were very good the two boys had character and quality about them. Will return.

We ate here at the downstairs part and was in awe of the one lonely girl they had working there doing everything cooking preparation serving. We both had the chicken deluxe burgers the mayo was the tastiest thing about it. Deluxe means lettuce and tomato everything came with lettuce and tomato.

The chicken came out of a plastic box by the grill, no fridge and a lean too bench to work and serve from something I would expect at a country show. Burgers had not flavour with the chicken but they were breast meat and the buns were cold no seasoning at all won't be back.

Had breakfast here almost like having breakfast in flinders lane in Melbourne. Beautiful breads and pastries always a queue which is a good indication of the quality. Service was quick and polite coffee was good.

Love this place but had never heard of it until on tourist shopping brochure mentioned it. It was a drizzly rainy friday place opens at 12 for service. Couldn't decide wine so was offered 2 to taste. Had the pork and prawn dumplings 5 per serve I received 6 and a free gow gee. I had the chicken peanut on cane skewers they were beautiful as well. Very reasonably priced service was swift and very helpful, sat right by the heater and plenty of bench seating inside and out will return again thats for sure.

Came across this place by chance on a visit to newtown. Ordered samosas for lunch and the rest to take with me beautiful samosas not at all greasy. The butter chicken was lovely and spicy and the rice a bargain for $2.50.

Service very quick and my card had a problem but very patiently keyed the numbers on my credit card in and you take a seat. Food was very quick service was good and food was lovely will return. Didn't realise until I went to write this review that there was 2 Kammadhenu on king street.

What a find on a recent trip to Sydney. Saturday night and everything on the menu and drinks was $5. The chicken schnitzel and salad was beautiful and bangers and mash for $5. The greek salad was also well worth the money and drinks a glass of chandon for $5 unreal value. The pizza peri peri chicken on friday night for $10 melted in your mouth. Drinks and meal specials every night of the week and saturdays, upstairs and downstairs bit noisy on friday nights but wow will be back for sure. Friendly staff good quick service and very clean.

I felt the size of the meals on offer here was excellent I was certainly full with my pad thai. Service was excellent water brought to your table and filled up order taken and arrived very swiftly. Yes the tables are close together but honestly think of the rents these businesses must pay. And all in all didn't cost me a cent as I had won a competition and made the owner fully aware of this at the start of service so I was impressed will return.
