Filippos at Macarthur are a little surprise in the district, well worth being called the local! The food is absolutely fantastic, the atmosphere is alive and value is amazing! Mondays are two for one, Tuesdays are half price pizza/pasta and Wednesdays are $10 steaks with trivia at 7:30. The new outdoor seating space is comparable to near-city alfresco dining with views to match of rolling hills and gorgeous sunsets. The difference, I suppose, is you pre-order at the counter and get handed a buzzer for when its ready. You quietly excuse this when you eat he first mouthful! The only thing that could be criticised is the cost of the drinks. These are matched to city prices, $8 a beer! All in all, awesome food and ambience. Save the drinking to some where else!

Well it has been almost a year since my last visit and eatability review of ribs and rumps. The last review outlined a turning point in the restaurant's service and food quality from impeccable to average.

Well to my dismay they hadn't lifted their game and still appear to be running a training school for young chefs. I had asked for a medium-rare rib eye ($35) steak and it come out cooked blue (raw) and full of clumpy fat, not marbled as per menu, clumpy! I asked for it to be cooked a little more as it was clearly undercooked. The girl that served us was lovely by the way.

When I dug back into the steak, it was still too raw. By this time I was a little peeved however was too hungry to care any longer. The girl must have seen my reaction and queried this with her boss. To my surprise we were offered a complimentary drink or dessert for the inconvenience, lovely gesture however shouldn't of happened in the first place!

You would think that a chain of restaurants like ribs and rumps would maintain its level of quality menu choices instead of average bistro imitations. I do eat out in the campbelltown/camden district quite regularly and there are definitely better options available that are better value and more memorable for the right reasons.

If you love drama and calamity then this place is fantastic. We dined on a quiet evening and enjoyed every minute. This restaurant is still the best we have been too. The host is a real character and has constant arguments with her husband, quite exciting at times lol

The duck was gorgeous both in orange and the cherry sauce and the strawberry romanoff was a perfect ending. Yes the bill was $120 for us both but we had such a good time we can't wait to go back. This restaurant is run by real people, not fake people pleasers! Unique in every way.

This is the best indian in the Campbelltown district. I have eaten at every indian restaurant in the area over a 14 month period and Little India is by far the most authentic indian you can get.

The food is great and the chefs will even cook a particular dish if not on the menu to your liking, if they have the ingredients). The decor is daggy and could do with a reno, however, I think it would take away the jewel in the rough and popularity would consume quality food output. The girls are lovely and always remember us, such a nice feeling, not even some 5 star places do this! Cost is great value. Well worth a visit.

We eat here regularly and the rockhampton steak is always fantastic, not let me down so far. The service is unpredictable and like mentioned above probably due to the younger staff. However, there is a girl we have been served twice by and she is fantastic, smiley and cheerful and always gets a tip from us. The ribs are particularly good too. Cost is worth it when having a great meal.

We love going to Enzo's and when in need of tender veal in masala sauce, I salivate instantly! A side of kipler potatoes, oh the thought:). The atmosphere is alive and far from dull, mainly due to the owner making his rounds and working the floor. I'm yet to try the pizzas, always look fantastic when they arrive at other peoples tables. The cost is reasonable and a great place for special occasions or a great meal out.

My girlfriend and I decided to celebrate valentines early and decided on Caveau. The food tasted delicious and service was impeccable but they did forget my wine, however, didn't matter by the end of the evening. The only thing I wasn't prepared for was feeling hungry afterwards, mainly my fault as I didn't realise it was a degustation menu (small portions, fantastic flavours).

I would recommend to any one for a class act, a real treat. If you are needing something to fill you up, eat a little something before you go as you will enjoy the evening even more. When it comes to cost $136 for the two of us, entrees, mains and sparkling water, no wine.
