I was starving and needed some food. After strolling up and down Glebe Point Rd, this place smelled the best. I had the marinated calamari and pad thai cashew, both were great portions but possibly not the more authentic style thai you get at Spice I Am etc. Nevertheless, it was cheap and cheerful and I'd go back if I was in the area.

Came here last Sunday lunch. Whilst the food was ok, the service was the real let down. It took us at least ten minutes before the manager finally noticed we didn't have any menus, and then he left us some but never came back. It was half an hour before someone noticed us again and we could order, and there wasn't a lot of people there. My husband and I ordered steaks (a natural and safe choice we thought as Mumu styles itself as a steakhouse).

My husband ordered med-rare and I, being pregnant and craving iron but not the bloodiness, med-well. When they arrived, both steaks looked as though they were cooked the same (rare) though my husband's was a little cold. I tried to get someone's attention to have my steak cooked more, but it was futile. I ended up snacking on the sides that came with the steaks and leaving most of the steak. Perhaps if the waiters (and especially the manager) spent less time laughing and joking amongst themselves at the bar and more time looking after customers, they'd be a little busier.

The food was average (very oily and not a lot of taste), most of the menu items feel like they belong in the early 1990's. Nothing particularly innovative food-wise, but the service was terrific and made our night special. It's a bit expensive, so I'd only go again if we couldn't get in anywhere else.
