I dined here with a friend tonight. The gentleman responsible for front of house was rather rude. It put a dampener on the whole evening despite the very friendly waitress. Entree took forever to arrive (wagyu salad and lamb kofta) and main lacked seasoning and general flavour (slow cooked goat)....
Hmmmm all in all a bit average. Probably wouldn't go back. Staff in general seemed too busy/important to care.

Have eaten here several times now. Delicious food, love the edamame, sashimi, wagyu and pork belly.
Really can't fault anything except the communal table. I don't like screaming across the table and sitting next to strangers. To secure a booth, you had to be a party of 4 or more, this may have changed.? Seating aside, the food is tops!

This place was great when it had a hat a couple of years ago (albeit a bit expensive, but you expect that with a hat). I've eaten here twice in the past month and I have to say, I understand why they lost it, it's not bad food but it's not what it used to be either. It annoys me that they are still charging like wounded bulls. why? Help me to understand.?
Service was lovely as always but big deal. Unfortunately, it's just too overpriced. Don't waste your money here.

After eating here last night, I'm surprised by the amount of negative comments about this restaurant. I had a seriously great time.
Yes it's dark, I believe that's called atmosphere. Staff gave us a cute little torch to view the menu. Problem solved. Attentive and friendly service, despite the fact it was very busy. Extra points for that.
We started with salmon and kingfish sashimi. Absolutely delicious. We also tried the special of gnocchi with vongole and mussels. Beautiful dish, some of the lightest gnocchi I have eaten! The lamb cutlet was also good but was battered, which was a little strange, but not awful as the comments below suggest.
Our waiter suggested a lovely Italian white to start (I don't know the name or grape variety) and then we moved on to a pinot style. Both were great and matched well with the food.
This (small) restaurant is stylish and intimate and very buzzy, all the elements that make up a fab dining experience for me! I will be coming back. Love the groovy light in the bathroom too. Nice touch.

I have had the pleasure of dining here twice now and loved every moment of it. Possibly my only gripe would be about the wine service. Both times I have had the courses matched with wine. Personally I think it represents much better value not to do this.
I found that with 4 of us at the table, we all drank at different speeds and subsequently some were asking for top ups. Our waiter was more than happy to oblige.
We were all pretty shocked when we received the chq and realised that we had been charged for every single extra top up. Not what I expected at a restaurant of this calibre. That issue aside, I would go back anytime, if I could get in a little quicker!

I've eaten here several times over the years and it can be very hit and miss. There is no question that the food is usually pretty good but they can sometimes be scabby with their servings like their Haloumi Salad with just 1 piece of Haloumi.. guys.. come on. Do you really need to be that tight? Service can also be pretty slow, but it's usually always friendly. Sweets are yummy but the coffee is average.

I used to buy his treats prior to MC (no queues then!), Adriano certainly has lots of flair and creativity. Note you really need to arrive early otherwise you won't have much to choose from. Pretty much everything I have ever bought from here tastes divine but I do have a sweet tooth and there are plenty of tiny, individual cakes which I love!
If you are looking for a treat with that wow factor or a cake that presents a little bit differently, this is your place.

I ate here last Sat night in a party of 4. Whilst the setting was lovely and the food was beautifully presented. We were all a little disappointed with the overall experience.
The restaurant was packed, mostly made up of a large private party. After our initial first 2 courses, we quickly finished our wine (we all had the degustation with wine). In an establishment of this calibre, it's not good to leave a table dry for more than a few minutes. We were told by a lovely waitress that there would be a 40 minutes wait between 3rd and 4th course due to the private table. Not happy. I also thought it was a bold move to pair the fish course with a pinot noir. Not awful, but not great either.
I will say at the end of the night we were not charged for the bread and additional wine we requested, but a 40 minutes wait during a degustation is pretty poor form.
Go there on a weeknight and I'm sure the experience would be much better.

Have been here twice now, the food is fabulous! Really delicious Middle Eastern flavours but with a contemporary twist.
Was here a few Sat nights ago and it was packed. Due to this we were seated upstairs where all the family groups were. Extremely noisy and being seated next to the french doors, we had the added hassle of smokers pushing past us every 30 minutes or so. Service was also not great on the night, due to how busy it was I'm guessing. We had to ask for our wine 3 times before it was brought to the table and several times for water. The waiter also criticised our choice of wine. Big no no.
This said, the food is outstanding and I would go back in a heartbeat. It's some of the best authentic cuisine I've eaten. YUM!

This place does not excite me at all, but is just around the corner from where I work. It serves below average pub food.
Think of anything you get in the deep freeze at your local supermarket and then think about wacking it in your deep fryer at home. This style (deep fried rubbish) and presentation (like Mum serves up) accounts for half of the menu. Great if you happen to be p*ssed and want something greasy and flavourless. Not great if you have any sort of palate. I would not diss this joint if the food was cheap. You get what you pay for. The food here is expensive.
I went last Friday with a few friends from work. I ordered the squid. The waitress who brought it to the table was carrying the plate with a dirty chux (I assume because the plate was hot). The chux was also on my plate of squid, almost touching it. I requested a new one. She gave me a death stare and huffed off. Some guy did bring me a new one shortly after.
Helloooooooo? Ever heard of hygienic food service? Based on this, I won't be going back. Maybe for a beer, but not the disappointing expensive food.
