Great relaxed feel, had the paella and linguine as well a seafood chowder. All were very good, the service was excellent with all staff very attentive and caring and the setting outside was relaxed and carefree. Recommended ++

Food was excellent! We had the kangaroo and feta pizza. The hot chocolate was quite sophisticated and delicate! We were very pleasantly surprised. The decor had subtle attitude and the music wasn't too loud. Overall a very good experience.

We had an hour to burn before sending a friend off at Southern Cross Station when we bumped into this place. We were very pleasantly surprised. We had the tempura oysters, salmon, chorizo risotto and rump skewers. The standard of food was very good, the waiting staff excellent and the prices extremely reasonable. I didn't expect too much going into this place but was very pleasantly surprised. The chorizo risotto was, perhaps, a little too spicy but it was still hard to fault.

I've been often and have always found it an above average experience. Many of the dishes are slightly unique (not simply done the standard way) and done very well. The prices (in particular for lunch and afternoon tea) are very reasonable. Service is the standard Chinese restaurant standard which could always do with improvement but it's ok. You go for the food and it is good.

The focaccias were really good and worth paying extra for (they're about $13 each). The ice mocha was a bit dear at $7.20. Overall, a very pleasant place for lunch. A bit of a hideout from the rest of the city. Perfect place to eat, have a bit of a chat or read.

Unique food, definitely different in a refreshing way. Service was also very good. We had a waitress who was attentive, knew about the dishes and went out of her way to make sure we had a great dining experience there. Recommended.

Not bad but I wouldn't rave about it as much as the SMH. Generally good food, the green attributes were admirable and the menu more varied than most places. You can't be too far wrong with this place. The veges were a bit overcooked though.

Pretty good food but not quite 10/10. The desserts were great (crepe and fondant) and the mains were better than average (porterhouse and venison). The entrees were above average.
Service, ambience and value ($69 for 3 courses) was excellent. The peanut butter ice cream was a surprise and a delight. It was an adult flavour rather than a kids flavour.

We had the Tasting menu. It was ok only, not bad but a lot which could be improved upon. We came from Melbourne expecting a lot (which probably wasn't a good way to start) given the awards this restaurant has won but in the end felt it was a bit mediocre.
The lobster was a bit tough and tasteless rather than being tender and full of flavour. The Yellow Fin was replaced with Trevally and it Did Not go well with the goats curd. On the other hand, the Vacherin meringue was wonderful and the wagyu, beetroot cured trumpeter and quail above average.
Service and ambience were well above average. The waiting staff were very attentive. Pleasant evening but the food was slightly disappointing given the expectation and the price ($120/head).

We had a wonderful lunch here just out from Launceston. The creamy seafood chowder was perfect! It was creamy without being heavy, full of flavour all the ingredients were in harmony with each other. The Nicoise salad was pretty good too. Service was quick (though we did come in an off peak time) and very very friendly. The view over Cataract Gorge added to the ambience. Highly highly recommended.
