Just awful. Rude staff, clearly they just don't want to be there! Food is disappointing, I had a very sad, over cooked piece of salmon, how can you get cooking salmon so wrong? maybe the kitchen staff doesn't want to be there either! Shame, since it's a nice venue, just very badly run. Not a good experience, won't be back.

I bought some of these lovely looking cupcakes recently and was totally surprised at how rubbish they are! The cake was made from what tasted like a packet mix you would buy from coles. Certainly not homemade. The butter cream frosting was packed full of artificial flavors and low quality butter. For $4 a cake I would expect a homemade cake base and frosting with fresh ingredients. The lady who served me was also very rude.

Food was really average. Calzone stuffed with cheap rubbery ham, raw mushrooms and disappointing sun dried tomatoes. Fatty steak came with two pieces of overcooked broccolini, a whole, large semi-cooked mushroom and far too many peppercorns in a rather bland jus. $32 for a steak? A bit steep for what it was and location.

Service was great, very attentive. It's a pretty good location. A bit noisy with the chavved up cars but there's not much you can do about that. Overall this was an average experience. I'll take my $32 elsewhere in future.

10 out of 10. The best restaurant in Sydney. It has everything you could want from a dining experience. Fabulous food, friendly, attentive and professional service, great atmosphere (always!), and wow, just check that view out! Such reasonably priced dishes (everything below $30!) and BYO makes it a cheap night out.

The breads are a great way to start if you don't want an entree. Mains are a perfect size, always cooked to perfection and well seasoned. Try to make room for the gorgeous desserts especially the chocolate and honeycomb cheesecake. Divine. It's not surprising this place is always busy. Don't ever change ripples!

Food is great, it's just inconsistent. We had the lemongrass chicken the first time we ate here. It was wonderful and not too spicy. Last week we came back and opted for the lemongrass chicken again. Can't say it was the same dish. It had so much chili in it even I couldn't eat it (and I love very spicy food!).

Overall though, this is a great find. Food is always fresh and tasty and not de-spiced down for western palates which is refreshing (even if it did burn the mouth off my poor boyfriend!). Service is quick, very quick. Great tea. Good atmosphere. Nice fit out and very reasonably priced.

Ill be back for sure (just wont have the lemongrass chicken!).

There's always a great atmosphere here. Nice fit out. Service is quick, polite and friendly. Food is tasty and the portions sizes are more than adequate. Penang curry is divine. Don't think I can make one negative comment! A good all rounder.
