I have only had the Works and found it great. A 'just right' beef pattie with fresh salad, juicy pineapple and crispy bacon and the special sauce. Simply great.
The peanut butter shake might sound weird. Trust me, it's addictive or the fresher alternative, pineapple crush? Been here a few times now and still got cravings for it from time to time.

Environment was great, it was unique and the place was big! it kind of echoes due to how big the place is. Service was not the best, because the waitresses are always running around trying to do the best they could in such a big place.
Food was above average, but not the best. However, portions are Huge! $50 for two including tips, took a bit of effort trying to finish two mains and a small entree.
Will go back again.

I remember going to the place when it first starting their night shift. It was great the first time I was there, where the dragon was serviced with a filled with a whole prawn nicely laid around the plate. Sashimi boat was tempting (large size) coz they managed to include the head and tail of the fish on the plate (feels good to have the whole fish).
Second time I went there, menu has been changed, the all you can eat (hotpot n sashimi) priced at a more attractive level, $38 (used to be $45). However, the food quality went down with the price, my dragon rolls was not served with a king size prawn, swapped it for a seafood stick instead like what?
The sashimi didn't come with fish head and tail anymore. More enviromental friendly? Haha. No longer one of my favourite dining place but still good to have a casual dinner there if you feel really hungry.

The fries are one of the best I've had. Kinda like potato wedges but comes in the size of fries. The prime steak that I've ordered was simply delicious. The best of all would be the staff there, nice, friendly and makes the atmosphere a great place to dine in as a family restaurant or birthday parties. Will be back again.

Best pho down south. I have eaten in many other Vietnamese restaurants, and this is definitely one of the best. Nice and cheap. Good for a quick meal.

Food is fresh, thanks to the high volume turn-over, keep things going. Food is cheap but if you have eaten else where, you would realise meridian down sized their proportion of beef that they put in their pho.
Eating utensils are disgusting, I have seen waiter/waitress wiping wet chopsticks with veges hanging on the chopsticks as he picked them up from the tray. Did they wash it properly or just rinsed it? Anyone else seen this or is it just me seeing things?

Lived around this area since I was a kid. Ate here for a few times. I remember it used to be one of my favorite before they changed hands. Quality of the food turned me away from them. The place needs a bit of renovating. Feed like more of a chinese restaurant than somewhere for a traditional Japanese meal. Still, it's good if you head there for night time special at 8.30pm after a good few hours of OT from work and wanna eat somewhere close to home, where a few of the dishes are selling for $8.90.

I remember a good few years back, they used to be a traditional chinese restaurant, it was good back then. Came across this place when my mates decided to come here for dinner, that's when I realised it's not what I think it was.
The management really put some thoughts in and tried turning it into something closer to a fine dining atmosphere. However, it went terribly wrong when you see disposable paper tablecloth.
Food wise, the salt and pepper squid was one of the worst that I've ever had. While the chicken on the caesar salad was the only thing left behind. Simply too dry.
Price wise, similar to what you would pay for in another cafes. Wouldn't say the food is bad, but only average, I would rather have an extra 15 min drive down to brighton le sand or down south to cronulla for something better. When I first got into the restaurant, I was trying to clarify something in my head, what kind of restaurant is this? Def not a take away store, something better than a cafe with the atmosphere, definitely far from fine dinning with the food and noisy customers. Prob won't recommend it.

Very rare to see a proper Japanese restaurant run by real Japanese people in Sydney nowadays. Food wise, it's not the best in Sydney. However, I would give it a number one in the South Sydney region. Service was attentive, and friendly. Oh yea! the menu wasn't very long, make choosing much easier :)

Not the first time here, but found that they offered goose for the first time and wonder if those were upsized ducks, because I was once told by a Chinese bbq shop that we don't have goose for sale in Australia in restuarants.
Food was ok, the service was terrible that even the local takeaway shop could have done better. The table was dirty.
