I have been here twice in 3 weeks, both on Sunday's. It is a bit galling when the staff act like they can't seat you yet you can see plenty of empty tables behind them. There are always plenty staff buzzing around but it took 40 minutes to get two glasses of pepsi.

The food is incredibly expensive, but I guess that is to cover the overheads for the location. The food is Ok, but not great. It's just not the same as the old Crown Street location. We won't be heading back.

I had breakfast with friends at Kasbah on 23 July. The wait staff were in abundance and were very nice. Most of us ordered the pancakes. They were huge and tasty. Some friends ordered the tagines and they looked good too.

The food and value were great. My complaint is with the wait staff and their over eagerness. I left the table to wrangle my toddler and forgot to tell my husband to doggy bag my remaining pancake. The wait staff cleared the table without asking the group if they were finished or if they would like doggy bags. The pancake was $18 but given the size and depth of it, the value was good but to have half of it thrown away was wasteful and disappointing. Go and enjoy but protect your plate.
