I took a group of eleven people to Bar Mattino last Sunday for brunch for my niece's first birthday and it was a fantastic experience all round.

Bar Mattino is not a huge space, but the lovely owners accommodated us really comfortably. As soon as we started to arrive drink orders were taken and a huge red pot of large leaf tea had arrive infront of me in minutes, I was one very happy chica. I don't drink coffee, but the others said the coffee was great.

As for the food, the wondrous chef managed to serve all eleven of us at the same time, the food was hot and delicious. I had the breakfast panini (half was munched by my little niece who though she can't yet talk, obviously rated the food. Everybody else was also happy with their various feasts. Serving sizes were very generous. We had also brought a cake with us and the owners brought it out with the one candle alight.

I will definitely be going back to Bar Mattino. The owners are great, the service is great, the food and coffee is great. All wrapped up in a neat little package. What more could you ask for. Thanks Bar Mattino!
