We had a lovely meal at MahJong Room. We went on a Friday night. We had a special meal deal which was really good value. I was a little nervous that the staff might act different towards us as we were on a 'cheap deal', but they were wonderful.

The service was very attentive without being over-the-top. The food was delicious, particularly the chicken and prawn wontons and the prawn, snowpea and cashew dish with dried chillis - delicious! Loved the dessert with lychee icecream too. Can't wait to go back!

We nearly didn't go to Bangbang because of some of the reviews, but tried it anyway and we really enjoyed it. The coffee is some of the best we've had recently and our food was great too, we had tomato/avocado/basil on sourdough and a ham sandwich, the crisps on the side were a nice touch. The chairs/stools weren't super comfy but they were fine. Our only real problem was they didn't have a highchair for our 1 year old but they were great about accommodating our pram. Will definitely go there again when in Surry Hills.

We were so excited when we found what seemed like a great Vietnamese restaurant in Sutherland! The ambience of the restaurant is quite nice and it seemed clean and well patronised. However, we waited for over an hour just for an entree and when we asked where it was, they had obviously forgotten us but didn't even apologise. The food was ok but the bad service means we won't be going back.
