Food is great, great proportion considering for tapas! However Sangria is expensive what normally $20-$15 1 liter is 1 glass here and since the glass is fruits there is not as much liquid. But it is a very gourmet sangria comparing those 1 liter, it’s just like a food salad with red wine lol. Anyway personally I still prefer the inexpensive sweet soft drink like sangria version. So other than the drink a bit of a rip off its a great place!

Mesmerizing view of the bondi beach I can just stare at the beach for the whole day and I will be pleased. The deco really do match with the beach very well so it does feel like the restarent blend itself with the beach. The only down thing about it was full of people I was there until 4pm for lunch on sunday and it was still packed with people feel like im in a yum cha place. The food was great I had the squid ink pasta which was faultless & dessert to share again it was divine (to be honest I didn't really focus on the food as the view was too amazing I couldn't stop looking at the view). Non of us ordered the the steak even though suppose to be famous n all but we all think its too over priced and it not a steakhouse so that why. Actually its so weird I grew up in near the beach and still I'm so drawn to the view.

I have been to wagaya several times never understand whats the rave about the food, don't understand what sort of food it serve (bento type? fusion type? ramen? sushi?) since the food are just all taste ok and the price doesn't really match with with the porpotion. Finally for the nth time (I only go because my friend's birthday or being force to) I finally know what's good there as I was in a mission to find yakitori in Sydney, the yakitori dishes here are surprisingly great but again over price what suppose to be cheap bar/street food in japan. What expecting about just under $25pp including beer end up with $35pp incuding beer. So not cheap eats at all. Oh well I guess the seating style and the mocktail/cocktail kind of pay up for it.

We went to the press club for lunch on our first day of our Melbourne trip. I was told that on a Melbourne trip a fine dine & greek food is a must do item there! So there we arrived to the decision of The Press Club. We love the fact that it doesnt have to be booked few days or even month prior in order to get a table (maybe it is normal in Melbourne). We had the Kerasma 4 course sharing menu. We loved the food it has bags of flavour, especially Pork dish it was divine well balance sweet and crunchy goodness. However we didnt really enjoy the fact that the carrots was slightly hard (it tasted sweet and crunchy when it is eaten but it was hard to put ur fork in it, it just rolls & runs away since it was covered with olive oil).

I would love to give ambience a 10/10 since I really love the fact that each meal has a matching cutlery! However, I did take one point off since even though the view is gorgeous overlooking the opera house and harbor bridge, however, I don't really like the design of the restaurant to me it lack of character (I guess its a personal thing).
The food is amazing! From entering the restaurants a staff be telling me to order the shaved squid and lobster dish and I have been scared not listening to her. Even though we did order the 8 course tasting menu so it was included. However, that dish was so good the finely shaved squid is so fine it just melt away in our mouths and fragrance of lobster is so flavorful I just lost when I finished the dish. So why scar-ed? it was the first savory main and it is a tasting menu size (though it is the right size for it otherwise it will be too full).
The rest of the dishes are also perfect all have perfectly balance of textures and flavour a mixture of crunchy, smooth, sweet and aroma of the natural produce itself (veg and protein). Definitely will come back for the lobster squid dish in the four course size! And it is a celebration of natural produce like he mention it!

It is a very charming restaurant and charming presentation. We had the 8 course tasting menu we mainly found the food rather bland (especial the beef dish it was suppose wagyu, suppose to have this nice beefy aroma and suppose to be the hero of the dish. however found it lack of flavour but it was very tender... so as the barramundi to me it taste like old age home food). So basically the main savory dishes were very disappointing but the entrees and the dessert was decent.

Finally found a decent price steak house, which serves well cook steak and good views. Even though their food is not as good as the prime nor chop house. But it is a good place to go when there is a craving for steak.

Definitely good value for degustation menu. The duck was very nice, cooked very well and full of flavor. The rest of the dishes are ok. Well it's eatable though. I guess it's not expensive for degustation so can't expect every dish to be mesmerizing can I?
