Ate at Linda's last night after being told by three other restaurants that they were fully booked (Saturday night I guess). Linda's had a table for two and I can't believe I have left it so long to come here. The service was an absolute delight and the food was fantastic.
We were served a small vegetable soup to start and that was so tasty, I could have had a whole bowl for my dinner and left at that.
Partner had the scallops and pork belly entree which was cooked to perfection and I had the twice baked souffle which was one of the best I have ever had, beautifully light and fluffy.
Mains were the duck confit (excellent) and barramundi with lobster bisque and gnocchi (yum!), then dessert was the ginger cake and chocoloate mousse, both were outstanding.
We had a really great night and will definitely be back to Linda's soon to try everything on the menu.

Went here for my birthday a few nights ago with 8 people. The food was pretty amazing, but the service was a bit lacking and unfriendly. We were offered water but that's it, we weren't asked if we wanted any drinks. We asked for our drinks (cocktails and beer) and then before our drinks came out they served us bread and some sort of palate cleanser, which was nice, but we were waiting for one more person to arrive and we told the staff that, but they obviously didn't care and then served us our first course (did the degustation).
We also had to ask to order wine! I find this a bit strange as at any restaurant drinks orders are taken first, right, not when the food comes out?
I just found it all a bit rushed and one of the staff started collecting our plates when one of the table was still halfway through their dessert! Ambience was a bit lacking too. Not too sure if I would return, only for the food, nothing else. All in all, pretty average.

Went here for the first time last weekend (before it closed for holidays) as we had heard so many good things about it. We were not disappointed.
Everything about the place was wonderful, the ambience, food, staff were all excellent. We had the prawn and pork dumplings for starters which were absolutely amazing, as was the softshell crab. For mains we had the pork belly and QLD scallops, we couldn't fault it in any way, they were both outstanding. Next time we go (as soon as they are open again!) we'll definitely try the tasting menu.
The staff are friendly, not pushy or intrusive in any way, but always attentive.
I can't believe it has taken me so long to discover the place. If you haven't been, you must go! Now!

We have only been here for breakfast and our experiences have been mixed. The first time was about 2008 and we had to wait absolute ages for our breakfasts, and when they came they were mediocre, nothing special. We decided to try it again a few months ago and we again ordered breakfasts and they came in a good time and we really enjoyed it. I had the Lentil C (vegetarian breakfast) and it was fresh and tasty and my partner always asks for his bacon well done and it came out perfect.
We again tried it today and as always, the staff are friendly, attentive, no problems there, but we had to wait ages again for our breakfasts, there were people that arrived after us and got their food before us! We had to ask twice when our food was coming and when it did come, the food was nice enough but what they call "toast" wasn't. It was a slice of bread that was half toasted with a little smear of butter on it, I don't understand how a breakfast can take so long when they don't even cook toast properly!
I had the corn and cheese fritters with hollandaise sauce and "Italian Bread", which they forgot, the fritters didn't have any cheese in them and the hollandaise sauce I found far too sharp, I guess too much lemon juice? The coffee was always nice and the staff we have had no problems with, but the food is just lacking a little bit and the time we waited is just too long. I think we will be giving this place a miss for a while.

Went for breakfast here, and was very disappointed. First of all the breakfasts took ages to come out. I ordered the vegetarian breakfast, which came with 3 eggs, I don't eat eggs and when I asked for no eggs, they didn't offer me anything else, I asked for beans, but they didn't have them.
I also asked for brown bread instead of white. When the breakfasts finally came, I got white bread and no avocado, which was part of the breakfast when I told the waitress, she took the breakfast back and came back with brown bread and half an avocado dumped on the plate which they had obviously forgotten. The sauteed spinach was only about 6 leaves (I counted them!) mixed with the mushrooms. My partner got more spinach on his big breakfast as a garnish! The bacon on my partner's breakfast was very anaemic and quite fatty, which he didn't enjoy.
While the service was friendly enough, there seemed to be only one waitress running around doing all the serving. Coffee was nice, and that's about it. I would come and try dinner, but definitely not breakfast again. For the money you pay, the value is not great.

We have been coming here for the past year and the food and service have always been excellent. My partner and I both lived in the UK and are always looking for a good Indian restaurant, and Delhi O Dehli never disappoint. Although we came here a few days ago and noticed the menu has gotten a lot smaller, they previously had a lot more on offer, but you can still get a vindaloo if you ask for it.
All round, the ambience and service are excellent and the food always tasty and fresh. Especially the cheese naan, they are to die for!
