A very "Melbourne" bar in the heart of Newtown. Agree with most of the reviews below, great for a relaxing night though service is sometimes slow.

Amazing food, very memorable experience at Waqu! The food is less experimental, come here for a satisfying and delicious meal!

Pizzas are quite expensive and very small for what you get. Although I suppose this place epitomises quality over quantity. Good if you a fan of proper, high quality woodfired pizzas. Service is average (we got a snobby waiter).

Great place for live bands (eg. Tuesday for jazzgroove), food is decent enough. Good place to catch up with friends.

Rise truly tickles one's tastebuds. Mostly gorgeous food, cannot wait for next visit. Some food, as with the service, is a bit hit and miss though.
