I decided to have my leaving party here as I'm going travelling for several months through Asia. I've heard so much about Seven Lanterns that I had to make it my last big night out in Sydney. We dined upstairs which is recommended and most in the group went for the 7 course Degustation menu. Each course was beautifully prepared using the finest and freshest produce available. The food portions were perfectly sized and the elegant and sophisticated flavours are a testament to the team in the Kitchen. Does not shun BYO, which is a nice feature to this great restaurant.

I become weary when someone invites me out in the hills as I've been disappointed on a few occasions. Though, I must say my friends made an excellent choice in taking me to Allure. The food and service was very good. The menu is rather small but I like that. I'd rather they do less well than more poorly! It also goes to show that you can have good food and value in the Hills. Has a BYO policy too which is handy for some. Highly recommended.

We came to Thai Esarn not knowing what to expect. We had a really great time and loved every aspect of our dining experience here. The service was exceptional, our waitress was absolutely lovely. The food, though adapted to local tastes, was still very good both fresh and flavoursome. There are only a handful of great Thais up here and this is one of them.

We dined here and were totally disappointed with this Thai. We were unfortunate to be given a table right next to a large group of loud and intoxicated customers which ruined our whole evening. We asked to be moved but were told, rather abruptly, no.

Our order took a very long time to arrive to our table and in the meantime food destined for the large group was annoyingly arriving at our table. When our food did arrive the dishes were either dry or very oily and one dish cold. The service wasn't friendly, more indifferent bordering on rude. I was told by my embarrassed host that the standards have dropped at Siam since they were here last. What standards?!

We came here for dinner and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. This is a very well established Thai in the Hills area and judging on how busy it gets, is very popular amongst the locals too. The food was very good and the service polite and efficient. Their prices were good and everyone in our group was impressed with Pimarn. We had made a good choice.

Came here and found the dining experience all a bit average to be honest. Being tucked away in the heart of the city I was hoping to find a hidden gem. The food was ok, no outstanding dishes on the menu and service what you'd expect in a pub. Nice handy location, what a shame really.

Came here for a quick bite with friends and was really impressed by their food. The beef dolsat was beautifully put together with the ingredients and flavours exquisitely paired. Excellent prices and fun atmosphere.

A very well run restaurant serving very good food up this way. The quality of the produce is top notch and some dishes like the beef cheek were stand out. The service is friendly and inviting. The atmosphere intimate and cosy. A restaurant that is good for all occasions.

A charming, elegant restaurant serving excellent breakfasts. The lunch and dinner menu also looks amazing, showing a lot of flair and imagination. Also has good coffee and I found the service both friendly and efficient.

Highly regarded and excellent restaurant that did not disappoint. The restaurant was beautiful, the menu was beautiful, the service warm and helpful. Couldn't be in a better setting than in the hamlet of Berrima. We need more excellent regional restaurants and eateries.
