Only things that gets a work out in this restaurant is the microwave and a can opener. Staff are friendly and efficient but food is tasteless, dull and as another reviewer described, watery. Was expecting fresh, tasty and authentic but got the opposite. Couldn't wait to leave. Won't be going back.

Bar staff here are always great and there is a large selection of beers. Food is traditional pub but always served fresh and efficiently. Nice dark wooded atmosphere with books aligning the walls make it a great place for a catch up with mates. Favourite pub in Surry Hills.

Overpriced for basic pub food. Portions small and tasteless. Don't bother with this place considering all the great places to eat down the road. Good pub and atmosphere for a drink though.

Large serving sizes but ingredients weren't fresh. Average tasting food for the price. Staff could try to crack a smile once in a while. If you consider this good thai you really haven't tried good thai. Average at best.

Best cafe in Newcastle. Food is fresh and always delicious. Great coffee and the best breakfasts. Service is second to none. Highly recommend.

Great decor. Perfect beach location. We have been here a few times and the food has always been great, hats off to the chef's. Surprised by a few reviews below in regards to food. Service, however, has always been below par. Slow, forgetful, and dishes served 5-10 minutes apart. We go back for the beautiful seafood dishes and atmosphere.

Been coming here many years. Never disappoints. Service is always friendly, efficient and nothing is ever a hassle for them. Food is delicious. Generous tasty portion sizes. Decor is simple with a few artworks of Greece to enhance the mediterranean feel. Recommend the dips and the lamb souvlaki.

Great to have Tapas reach The Spot after a myriad of Thai Restaurants encompassing the area for years.

We really enjoyed our meal here. Buzzing atmosphere and decor. The staff were friendly, courteous and quick, which is a great attribute considering it is located next to a popular cinema and timing can be important. The menu choice was varied, contemporary and delicious. Portion sizes could definitely be larger for the price.

We have been back many times and recommend it as a great place for a enjoyable evening. To reviewer 'oska-roehrs'. You are eating in a beachside suburb of an international city not Spain. Spanish wines really aren't that great hence I assume are not on the list.

Went with group of four people. Wine list was a good size with wide variety. Plenty of 'by the glass' options made it easy to choose wine for the types of food ordered.
Disappointed with the food. Portion sizes were good but food was tasteless and boring (could easily cook yourself at home).

Staff were relaxed but not attentive enough to consider it good service. Didn't find the staff welcoming or hospitable which was strange for a newly opened restaurant. May still be finding their feet but will not be going back particularly with other Tapas bars opening up in the Coogee/Randwick area.
