Fortunately, we hadn't read the reviews prior to spending a great night here. The night was cold and miserable but the vibe was great, the restaurant was full without being packed and we weren't rushed. The meal consisted of baha California fish tacos and a chicken enchilada, both were very well prepared and nicely presented.

Complementary chillies on the side were a pleasant bonus. Wine reasonably priced and the barman looked like he took pride in his work and was entertaining too. Not quite sure why there are those negative reviews. We thought it was a really pleasant change for a Mexican restaurant.

Great place to go to for drinks (wide range of cocktails) and the views, especially of the passing parade, are good. Food is ok, but nothing exceptional. Good place for a night out.

We had one of those internet special deals, and you have to be joking for anyone to believe this is an even remotely realistic deal at the full price given what we got. Six plates of food were received, at blinding speed, shared by the two of us, they looked suspiciously like single serves, but never mind.

The food was uninspiring, and really not very Thai at all. Yet again, plates were removed without both of us having finished, this is plain rude. When will waiters learn?

The place was pretty empty, especially given it was a Saturday night. Which is too bad, because it looks quite good, and could be so much better.

Had lunch here with the kids - A combination of pastas and panini's. The lasagna was good, the carbonara maybe a little too creamy. Panini's were a bit overdone in the grill, so on the dry side. Desserts very good. Price not bad, but definitely not a cheap lunch ($100 plus for 2 adults and 2 kids). Good service.

We both had a remedial massage here, complements of a discount site. The price was good, but it was a major disappointment. The premises looked dodgy in the extreme, grubby, cramped, messy. To put it mildly, the photos in the website bear minimal resemblance to actuality, wide-angle lenses and all that, I know, but this was extreme!

The masseuses left the room from time to time to help customers walking in off the street, and the massages were a bit all over the place. Not exactly what you expect from the website. Won't be back, sorry.

We had dinner here on a Saturday evening, and the place was packed. Great area at the back facing the water. Had all the usual standards for a suburban Thai restaurant, and it was all round pretty reasonable.

Really underwhelmed with this restaurant. Uses suspiciously Mexican kitch furniture from the previous restaurant at the location, and the food is uninspiring at best and plain not very good at worst. Had the spring rolls, szechuan chicken, honey chicken and special fried rice, and it really was all round very average.

Wildly popular eatery serving a combination of Malaysian and Chinese meals. The food is pretty decent (beef rendang, honey chicken, a chicken and potato curry, fried rice) with good size servings for a reasonable price.

But: If the aim of the waiters is to be rude, inattentive and arrogant, they succeeded admirably. And getting the food (all obviously main courses) delivered with lengthy delays between each one, and needing reminders before receiving the food, just isn't good enough. It must be something about the surroundings, an Asian restaurant next door seemed to have similar problems a year or two back, and we haven't been back.
