What a fantastic restaurant with warm, wonderful staff! The only way our meal could have been better was if we flew to Thailand, sat on a beach and had the Atom Thai staff serve us the same food.

We have been there twice now. The first time my wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary with our two daughters and the service was outstanding. All of the staff were very, very friendly all night and gave us just the right amount of attention. They accommodated our one year old with a high chair, brought paper and felt pens for our four year old to keep her entertained, and put helium-filled balloons at our table. They just kept surprising us with the extra service we weren't expecting. And the food...

The Miang Goong is the first thing on the menu and is recommended by the chef, for a very good reason - it is spectacularly good. The vegetarian spring rolls are light, delicious and not greasy at all. The Tofu Tamarind is the best tofu we have ever had. The satay chicken skewers were big, perfectly cooked and served with an amazing satay sauce. The Pad See Eaw was incredibly tasty, and the Chilli Basil Duck completely satisfied my appetite.

Every dish was fresh and delicious, and large enough to fill us while being light enough that we didn't feel overfull at the end. When we asked for the bill they brought us a complimentary icecream desert with a sparkler to celebrate our special night.

Our second visit was for my wife's birthday. We went with our children again and another couple who have two daughters about the same age as ours. Once again the service and food were extraordinary. We had the same entrees, fantastic again, and some different mains which were all amazing. Honestly, every dish we have eaten there has been completely delicious.

They handled the birthday cake we brought with perfect service and timing, and again the price overall for the meal was great. Even the other patrons are friendly with the whole room joining in singing 'Happy Birthday'. Our friends loved it too and my wife says it was the most enjoyable birthday yet.

Thank you Atom Thai. These could well be the best restaurant experiences we have ever had.

Dear jimmyb

Thank you so much for a wonderful review, we, all the staff, are very humbled and flattered by your praises.

We are honoured to have had the chance to serve you at both of those very special occasions, for your wedding anniversary as well as your wife's birthday.

I try to instil this in my staff – provide the best service to our customers as we would like to be served when we are customer ourselves. I am glad that my staff are putting this into practice.

I have shared a copy of your review with the waiting staff as well as the kitchen staff, they are all very grateful for your recognition. At the same time, it will serve as an reminder for us to keep up the standard and continuously improve ourselves.

We look forward to seeing you again soon, and thanks again for your time and effort in writing this for us.

Cheers,
Atom

We should have dined at Fare Nosh years ago! What a wonderful experience. My wife and I went there on Saturday night for our wedding anniversary. I'm glad we booked because they couldn't accommodate everyone who walked in off the street due to being fully booked. The night started with a friendly welcome and the service stayed well above par all night.

The tomato and onion crostini was a divine way to start our meal. It sounds simple but it was absolutely delicious. For an entree I had kangaroo fillet on a goats cheese and horseradish tart with roasted beetroot. I still can't believe how amazing it was. Our main meals were very good though the entree and starter were impossible to beat.

I told Yasmin, our excellent waitress, that I would have liked the chocolate pudding for dessert if not for the kahlua anglaise (I don't like coffee flavours) so I had the rhubarb crumble with vanilla bean icecream, the same dish my wife ordered. Our desserts were delicious! The chef even brought a complimentary chocolate pudding out for us to taste. It's something like that that makes you understand that they really care about the customer's experience. We will definitely be back and will be bringing friends.
