Ok service and conveniently opened late but hellishly overpriced for ordinary Chinese food. Very limited menu that made us wish we'd just gone to the food court or ordered room service. Wouldn't return or recommend. A thorough disappointment.

My husband and I had an amazing dinner here recently. The bar was quite loud but they sat us in a lovely private spot in the restaurant. The service was professional yet friendly. I had the Alaskan King crab, the snapper and the chocolate bar. They were all superb. The flavours and the presentation were faultless.

I loved the atmosphere of the restaurant too though the music might have been a bit loud and hip for other patrons. Overall a wonderful experience, we couldn't have enjoyed ourselves more. We can't wait to return on our next visit to Melbourne.

Ah, the Chinese restaurant from my childhood! Returned here recently for a family dinner after a ten year absence and it was exactly the same. Same staff, same strange produce photos on the walls.

Service was good, very fast and friendly. I now live near Chinatown so I call this kind of food 'Aussie asian' or '1980's Chinese'. Not a lot of traditional dishes but that's what I love about it. It's spring roll, prawn and cashew, lemon chicken heaven served cheaply and cheerfully. What they do, they do very well.

I visit this cafe regularly. It's in a beautiful, quiet location overlooking Blackwattle Bay. The service is always friendly and efficient. The coffee is great and I had the most delicious fattoush salad. On previous occasions we've enjoyed breakfast here and then walked it off around the bay. Highly recommended.

We really like the food here and really want to support them as one of our local restaurants but after four visits we won't be returning. The restaurant looks lovely and the food is innovative but the service is some of the worst I have had in Sydney. This restaurant specialises in employing the most obnoxious women as waitresses I have ever encountered.

This restaurant is obviously trying to be of a high calibre but a recent dinner was ruined by the revolting waitress we had who was unnecessarily rude about the restaurant no longer being BYO and was extremely condescending regarding simple questions about the menu (that she actually couldn't answer).

After we finished a bottle of still water she took all our water glasses away without asking if we wanted (or needed) more water (we would have ordered another bottle), didn't bring any serving utensils for any of the dishes we ordered and slammed plates down on our table.

Now keep in mind we returned here even after having an entire glass of beer dumped on my elderly Aunty by another waitress on a previous visit but this latest incident with staff has ensured we'll be avoiding this restaurant from now on.

Really tasty but pretty overpriced. The food is good quality and the service is usually really good. We avoid delivery as it's generally haphazard but takeaway and eating in are always fine. They have a funky new fit out which is charming and comfortable.

We've been coming to La Brasserie for dinner for many years and it is one of my favourite restaurants in Sydney. They are consistent and reliable offering excellent service and really good, well priced, brasserie fare. Very reminiscent of the brasseries in Paris. They have a very nice wine selection and often have some interesting specials. They also regularly have entertainment such as singers which is always enjoyable.

La Brasserie has a casual elegance perfectly suited to a romantic evening or quiet dinner. I can highly recommend it.

We went for dinner in a group of four. I thought the service was impeccable. The waiter took the time to explain the menu and recommend matching wines. The dining room is simply gorgeous. We had three courses and everything we ate was plated beautifully. I enjoyed all my dishes. Each one was prepared with care and demonstrated complex flavours without being fussy. This is a special occasion restaurant for me and we were very happy with our experience there.

I've been coming here for years and have celebrated many occasions under the reliable wing of the Tastevin team. They once made me the biggest apple Tarte Tatin for my birthday you've ever seen. They have a cute lounge out the back to enjoy a pre dinner drink. The dining room is intimate and quite beautiful.

The food is divine and the service immaculate. It's Paris with an Aussie attitude! The emphasis being on great tasting, high quality food and friendly, professional service. The wine list is particularly inspiring, some unusual and well thought out selections. It's very reasonably priced and consistently good. Suitable for groups but also for a romantic night out.

Good casual music venue. Terrible cocktails, sorry guys but my margarita tasted like butter menthol (bizarre and disgusting). We were here again for Jinja Safari on NYE. It was a fun night (but we stuck to coronas and straight tequila shots). It's strangely located in the middle of the main gambling floor, I would have positioned it away from the 'playing fields' (like the Lyric) to give it it's own sense of identity. Too late now I guess!
