Had a nice breakfast here on the weekend. I had the fruit and nut sourdough with ricotta, honey and banana. Delicious! The coffee was strong and hot and the atmosphere was lovely. Lots of papers around as well which is great. Definitely coming back here!

Had a great breakfast here on the weekend. Great service and ambience. The pork and fennel sausages I had with my eggs and toast were incredible.

I had a great lunch here on my own. The atmosphere is great with a kind of mezzanine level, outdoor eating area and general area. All places have a lot of light and really great decor. The only complaint is the really narrow benches inside.

I had a beautiful big sandwich with seed mustard, ham, tomato and Swiss cheese on 5 grain sourdough, it was fresh and lovely, perfect and simple but amazing!

Loving the glasses and water cooler as well because it means you don't have to hassle the staff for water every 2 minutes. Liked this place and would like to come here more often for my lunches and teas (and cakes!).

A great dinner out! Last time I came here with my family we did not make a booking so unfortunately we missed out. Tonight though I went with one of my girlfriends just after 6pm so we managed to get a table.

I decided to be conservative and get the teriyaki chicken ($15). It is served with a salad - with that amazing Japanese dressing that I always love - and rice was extra (not bad at $2). My friend got two large handrolls ($7.50 each) cut up and presented nicely on a plate. The sushi was fresh and lovely - not as good as some of the places I've had but great nonetheless. She also had a small miso soup ($3).

The service was great. The waitresses were humble and attentive. The gave us a Chinese cabbage pickle gratis before our meal. Their menu is cutely written on their blackboard at the back.

Teriyaki Boy is certainly not pretentious and has some amazing service and great value for money. Will definitely be back!!

Nice restaurant. I had the duck ragu which although was tasty, seemed to be swimming in the sauce. My partner had a pumpkin and spinach pasta which he said was nice but was slightly cold in the middle.

We bought wine from across the street so we were very happy this place was BYO. They gave us tumbler glasses for the wine though until we asked for proper glasses. Not sure why....maybe they do that with all their BYO customers.

The only disappointment was the fact that they put our bill on the table without asking us and then basically the staff asked us to leave as they had people waiting. They only seemed to have one couple waiting and the way they did it wasn't the nicest either. I guess some people would argue though that that's what Sydney restaurants are these days though.

Great lunch here. The waiter was lovely, the food was reasonably priced and tasty. The atmosphere, on a rainy Sydney arvo, was just perfect. I had the white bean soup with sour dough and for dessert, devonshire tea with some of the best scones I have ever had.

Like the soup nazi of bakeries. amazing food but bad service. The food, ok, it's nothing short of amazing. Every things I have had there is just always fresh, tasty and the best in Sydney. Their chocolate tarts, their lemon tarts, their Belgian hot chocolate, their sourdoughs, their almond and plum tarts, their foccacias....it's all nothing short of AMAZING.

The atmosphere is very cosy but if it was only about 5 metres bigger for the already tiny sitting area, it would be perfect. But some would argue that's where the charm is etc etc so I won't get too into that.

Amazing food and atmosphere. Went to Vini last night at about 8pm (on a tuesday night) and got a seat as soon as we arrived - outside only but that was still OK.
Their menu is cutely written on a blackboard and I got the impression it changes everyday as 'tuesday' was written on the top.

I ordered the tagliettelle with mushrooms and truffle ($18) and I can honestly say it was one of the best if not the best pasta dish I have ever had in my life.
For dessert I had a ricotta pannacotta ($9) while my friend had the apple pie with mascarpone ($9). Mine was delicious- perfect as it wasn't overly sweetened which allowed the flavours of the ricotta to come out. The apple pie I thought was just OK (flat, modern take on it).

The restaurant itself is cute and cosy- very hyggelig. The only slight complaint is with the service. They were good enough but a little more attention would have been welcomed as we had to wait a while between sitting and menus, menus and ordering etc. Plus the friendliness factor was only with one of them and not the main waitress we had. So hit and miss I suppose.

Definitely will be going here again though. Food was amazing and prices were reasonable.

Amazing. This place is just awesome. The food is amazing, the service is fast. I have come here for years now and its just always great. Get the beef rendang.
Get the lemongrass pork. And end with a chendol. You can thank me later, seriously its good. Best restaurant in the west/north west area.
