Went with my brother, and we both ordered the Barramundi burger. It was made so well, and I couldn't fault it. Tasted so good, and the aioli sauce that went with it was delicious.

Only problem was the main ushering guy was a bit rude. A younger guy serving us afterwards was nice, but when we tried ordering something else, he'd keep forgetting so we just got up and left to buy extra food elsewhere.

Value is alright, but I agree, the service at this place is pretty damn bad and kills the mood.

I'm not really a chocolate-person, so it was with much dragging that all my friends decided to take me here.

The truffles here are amazing. Try the Rosewater Jelly one. Or, if you're into more of a drink, try the blood orange with dark chocolate. Wish their coffee was a bit better though. It's got a bit too much milk, and thus too hard to taste the beans.

Service here has always been amazing everytime I've popped by. Only let down is that it's incredibly expensive for everything. Then again, I suppose you do pay for quality, and in that aspect, Koko Black does very well.

My mate and I thought we'd hang out here since we were both starving and he likes Viet food (I'm sorta sitting on the fence, as my heritage is Viet anyway hahaha).

He said his Pho was delicious, but my broken rice combination dish was so small portion-wise compared to his. Service wasn't all that flash either. For Vietnamese food, I'd say the prices are pretty good, but quality isn't too great.

Might go back again in a few days as I think I'll try the Pho!

I feel a bit like a fake giving all 10s across the board, but Circa would be one of those places you never forget going to. The coffee and food cannot be faulted, and the guys working there are friendly, down to earth, and always smiling.

The prices are, to put bluntly, extremely cheap for cafe food. Normally I'd expect to pay around $15 a plate in a cafe, but here you'd be hard pressed finding an item above $10. Definitely a gem, and is my top spot for brunch.

I went here based on a friend's recommendation, and I'm so glad I did.

Being from Sydney, I find Canberra food often so much more expensive than what I'm used to. The burgers here cost $12.50 and come with a huge side of fries.

I tried the soft-shell crab burger. It's a bit clunky and hard to eat (or maybe I just suck at eating burgers!), but the soft shell crab I find doesn't seem to go all too well inside a burger. It's beautiful on its own though!

Service was fantastic. Points also for the chillax surroundings. It's a shame they're closed on sundays though. I plan to try their thai fish burger next time I'm up there!

As someone who lives in the outer west, it's always hard to find decent Japanese food as most of the decent or more popular ones are in North Sydney or the actual City.

Ashin is the best sushi train I've had, and I've been at least 3 times, so it definitely doesn't seem to vary much.

The problem which I found when eating out here was that whilst the sushi train was fantastic, any a la carte dishes were strangely either devoid of flavour, or jacked-up with salt.

This place is amazing. It has, without a doubt, set a high benchmark for service and food in my mind.

The waiter was attentive, and asked us what sort of flavours we liked, and gave us his recommendation. We were so glad we went with his choice as it was delicious, and not loaded with cream or coconut milk like some Indian places.

The mixed entree is delicious and I fully recommend you try it as everything on the entree menu is so hard to choose from! Love the condiments, decorations and food. Only problem is it's a bit out of the way for me, but I'll definitely be back again in the not too distant future.

Nobody's left a review in some time so I guess I'll keep it updated for those who are still interested in trying out Dong Hae.

This place is fantastic, and I can see why it's so full everytime I've been past it. The sushi here is delicious, I recommend the $30 large-sized sushi platter between two. The cuts of meat are thick, fresh and nothing is deep fried or slathered in cream, which doesn't leave you feeling sick afterwards.

People might say this place's interior isn't professional, but I think it's really cute. They might not spend all their money on paintings and nice fixtures, but their food is full of flavour. Wish I lived in the area, cos I'd visit a lot more.

The sushi here was pretty good. The name slips me, but one of the crab meat ones was so good, the slice of meat was delicious and it just flaked away in your mouth.

What I love is how the sushi train is always jam-packed full of dishes. Most places I go to have huge gaps not too many dishes.

Service isn't too great, though. Takes 2-3 goes to remind waiters/tresses when you need something on the menu.

Overall good value, though.

Went here to finish off our anniversary dinner and the desserts were really good. We had the cheese platter and chocolate cake, and it was delicious. Would love to come by again!

Service was fantastic. Even though it was nearly closing time (we didn't actually know this, or we wouldn't have ordered and let them close up) the waitresses and manager were fantastic and gave us their recommendations on which dishes to choose.

Food came out quickly and everyone was so friendly whilst serving us. Left a tip of $10, and definitely will be back again.
