I have always wondered why there was such a long line for this cafe, I found out when I tried their food: Amazing! The quality of the dishes, service and presentation made for such a fantastic dining experience. I cannot fault this place, other than not being able to secure a reservation due to it's amazing popularity. It is a Sydney institution that cannot be missed!

I have had food and coffee at Mr Espresso on many occasions due to the fact that there is a limited selection of cafes in the immediate area. The coffee can be good If the regular Barista is serving it (Saturdays are a consistent disappointment).

The food has been hit and miss: there have been a few occasions that they have forgotten about my order due the volume of customers and serve the coffee well in advance of the food. The quality of the food can vary. The coffee itself (when served by the regular Barista/whom actually knows how to make coffee properly) is decent. Because this store is the "head office", they trial new staff and use locals as the guinea pigs: hence, the inconsistencies with the coffee and food. I await further choice but will patronise the cafe until that happens.

The staff make the "bottle shop experience" what it is: always entertaining. It is the best of the local bottle shops! A bit dearer$ than others but has what you generally need.

We chose this pub as a meeting spot as it was convenient in relation to where my friend resided. The service at the pub and bar staff was fantastic. We chose to eat at the restaurant, big mistake.

The food was supermarket quality (we saw the kitchen staff opening the packets of pre-prepared/frozen food) and overall, it tasted a bit ordinary. If the presentation of the kitchen was any indication of what we were to experience, we should have turned around then. It was a great disappointment as the majority of reviews seem to be positive in relation to the food!? Good for a quick stopover drink, nothing more (the cigarette smoke filtered throughout the place despite it being a smoke free venue).

After visiting an amazing Doytao Thai in a Heritage Building (Sutherland), we thought it would be a great idea to try the more local Doytao in Waterloo. Mistake. The place was filthy (the bug zapper was overflowing with dead flies!), the seating was limited and the food quite average. It was the complete opposite experience to Doytao Sutherland.

This is truly an experience that you cannot miss! The food is exceptional, the staff are so amazingly friendly/animated, the ambience is that of an old Italian eatery. They consistently do a good job with their takeaways and in house dining. A true Botany institution!

It is a fantastic local cafe that makes a great cup of coffee and is pet friendly. The quality of food and consistancy of decent coffee makes this cafe one of the better ones in the area. We love bringing our dog along for a Sunday brekkie as it is a gathering point for pet and coffee lovers! Friendly owner and staff - keep up the good work.

It was a fantastic meal which exceeded our expectations! We hope that it will be around for a while: a bit expensive but the quality of the food was exceptional!

Watery pizza, cold bruschetta, stained table cloth, the place is empty for a reason! The takeaway seemed like the better option!
