I have been here a handful of time over the last few months, and the food and service are very inconsistent. The first time I came here, the ribs and steak were perfectly cooked, the second time I ordered the same thing, my steak came out really dry. Other times I've been here, I can only describe the quality as "hit and miss".

Similarly, the service is average - the only times the wait staff were extremely attentive was when they needed us out before 8 for another table!

I came here for an anniversary dinner with my partner and found the food to be excellent, great tasting and great sized-portions, but the service was somewhat lacking, the waitress had to be asked three times for water, and I was left waiting 20 minutes to get my credit card back after I paid. What really spoiled the experience was the dimness of the restaurant, I'm all for "ambience" but I could barely read the menu or see what was on my plate! Also, I didn't appreciate the blaring techno music being played rather loudly, which was almost deafening even in the dining area.

Great for drinks but shocking service when it comes to food. Waited 45 minutes for a pizza - will not be going back in a hurry. When the food finally arrived, staff tried to clear my plate while I was still eating off it!

I come here quite regularly with work mates for lunch and we love the food! especially the salt and pepper calamari, everything is very reasonably priced. Never had problems with the service - fantastic if you've booked!

Great food, good value! Awesome location, and just the thing when you can't be bothered cooking! Great choice of ingredients, friendly staff and timely service! I recommend everything on the menu!

Every occasion I have been here, the bar staff in the downstairs area were rude and couldn't pour a beer to save themselves. I would never go to the bar downstairs if it were the last place I could get a beer. The upstairs lounge is the only redeeming feature, ambience here is much better and the staff are friendlier too!

I have been here a few times with friends for lunch, dinner and the odd coffee. First time I went there I was not pleased with the service at all (I waited 35 minutes for a tea and they even stuffed that up - I ordered a jasmine tea and they came back with an earl grey - they aren't even phonetically equivalent!). Second time I went there, the waitress walked away before I had finished ordering! Most recently I had placed a booking for a group of friends and they did not set enough places - what is going on? I am fed up with giving this place "second chances", the food portions are meagre and a little overpriced!

Booked this as a surprise for my partner and found it to be the perfect romantic evening, we didn't feel rushed, the wait staff were polite. Food portions were mediocre but they have a good selection of wines and food quality not too shabby either. It was expensive but the chocolate dessert was to die for! Great for special occasions!
